If you are ever in the need of legal advice don't waste your time with other firms. Alexander Cross and his team ate very nice, friendly and most important knowledgeable. With attorneys, it's not so much what you know, as it is how you present yourself. In 30 years, I've never seen an attorney walk in and take charge of the courtroom quite like Carleen. Paying a little more for top notch representation can save you thousands (or hundreds of thousands) of dollars, and quite a bit of time. With civil cases, it's more important to have a well known law firm on the letterhead, but with criminal cases, you want an attorney who is local, well known, well liked and has presence. Carleen has been all of that for 30+ years now. It is additionally important that defense attorneys are equally matched to prosecutors. Typically, the deck is stacked in favor of the prosecutor; Here, Carleen has no match. In balance, you could say that Carleen is helping to make society more just by making damned sure the prosecutor is held to his duty to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that the defendant is 100% guilty.
