Chris to the rescue. 40K in fees to a firm that was supposed to be "The Best in Northern California" with no results led us to him. Chris is a pit bull. He doesn't let up until he gets what is deserved. He knows procedure. He gets the job done. Chris is VERY aware of costs and strives for the most cost effective way to get the best result. His office staff is supportive, knowledgeable and super responsive. Without Chris we'd still be trying to dig out from under a bogus TRO with a company that does nothing but BILL. I would not think twice about hiring Chris and his staff again in the future. Thanks all!

After a particularly bad breakup I had a property, and pet dispute with my ex. Chris was able to listen to the details, and come up with a few viable options for me to proceed with. When I needed him to review agreements prior to signing them, he did so promptly, and gave me better versions to use instead. His knowledge and experience not only made this whole process a lot easier, but also made me much less stressed. He was able to do all this while transitioning from his office to working from home due to the stay at home order because of covid-19. Thank you, Chris.

My experience with Mr. Christopher Hirz is one that I actually wish had started 3 years sooner! I was force to change representation due to poor performance, basically incompetence bordering on malpractice. My girlfriend was kind enough to help me sort thru several options thru Yelp and other social reviewing platforms. She recommended that I try 3 options and I settled on Chris after one quick meeting! We met at his office in downtown SJ for initial consult and we hit it off immediately. The office is very nice, the staff incredibly helpful and kind so it was a pretty easy choice! After our meeting, he put into place a quick plan based on my interview and we were off! I placed my retainer, provided as much new information as I could and he reviewed the rest of the information from previous counsel. Our plan was followed to a tee! The result was a total victory! I felt very strongly that my case had merit and unlike my prior attorney, he believed in me. That was the difference all along. It was never about the money, he actually refunded me half the trial retainer stating that he was going to get most of it settled at the SOC…which of course, he did! The most strategic part of our plan was to take the high road on every item possible. Don’t bite on the bait and stay focused. I must say this was more difficult than I could have ever imagined! His words and logic matched by girlfriends so it was welcomed support on both ends! I am terribly hotheaded at times and dealing with the ex can be worse than dental surgery and yet he accomplished his / our goal! His preparation, detailed and concise, was key to this trial. During the trial, he referenced documents, emails and other correspondence as if he had it memorized! His legal team, Rosa and Adrian, are awesome…! I cannot speak more highly of them both! When you are faced with the challenge of choosing counsel, please understand that the review of personal experience is an invaluable resource. I asked if I could send this review, as I felt compelled to help anyone that was in a similar situation. I truly understand the emotions that go into even filling for divorce. The decision is made more difficult because then you have to pick the right attorney! Coming from someone who picked the wrong one initially, I’m convinced that Chris Hirz is the right choice the first time! My hope is that if you’re reading this that you don’t make the wrong decision like I did… choose Chris from the very beginning…you will not be sorry, I promise!

Chris rocks! $9,000 in lawyer fees and over a year later with nothing to show but frustration and delays from my ex I fired my lawyer and switched to Chris. Chris listened to what I was looking for in updating my divorce agreement. In less than 4 months and saving me more than 3/4's of the cost that I had already spent on my previous lawyer.
