I found my self in a sticky situation a few months ago. I was having some drinks with friends in Los Altos, a few hours went by, and I made the critical mistake of thinking I was good to drive home. Long story short, I made it home perfectly fine. When I was pulling into my driveway, I accidentally hit my neighbors' trashcan. I pulled into my driveway and went back to the street to fix the can. Luck would have it, an officer patrolling the street happened to see me the whole incident. As I walked to the street to fix the trash can I was with met with lights and sirens....A few hours later I was sitting in a cell wondering if my world was about to collapse around me. I am very pleased to be writing this review, after a 19 year term, I am finally home and it’s all thanks to Cody’s hard work and dedication. I was sentenced to 19 total years in 2012 with a gun enhancement that included a 10 year consecutive term; laws changed and was eligible for a resentencing hearing that could potentially bring me home after 14 years or be resentenced to the same 19 year term. It wasn’t an easy case due to the severity of my charges but Cody worked so hard on my report to present go the judge, he requested my transfer back to Santa Clara County Jail and after 2 months I was released on a 14 year resentencing term that resulted in Time served. Cody kept my wife up to date on all the issues, communication was excellent and I’d recommend him to anyone. Thanks for the hard work Cody!
