I recently helped a friend find a criminal defense attorney to help with a case that was actually a mixup at the courthouse. Ed was the only attorney I spoke with that made us feel like normal people. My friend hired Ed and immediately felt at ease. Ed did everything quickly and efficiently, saving us time and money.. He did the fighting and all the work. There were no issues through the entire process. It was smooth and painless. Ed is awesome. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs an attorney!

I was facing two felony's. My admission of guilt to the police officer made my case extremely challenging. Edward put together a Proactive and Aggressive Plan to get my charges reduced to a misdemeanor and serve minimal jail time. His Plan Worked! Edward utilized his relationship with the DA's Office to get my charges reduced to a misdemeanor prior to my 1st court date. He then demonstrated his ability to "think on his feet" by negotiating a deal with the Judge & DA. The result was that I received a 60 Day sentence which was reduced to 30 days by me participating in the Weekend Work Program. Edward was accessible throughout the process, and continues to help me as needed. His fee was a little higher than the other lawyers I interviewed; however, it was well worth it.

I experienced an unfortunate experience with my boyfriend, now ex, The incident occurred out of the county I live in and I was terrified of what I had been through. I contacted this attorney after receiving "jail mail" and researching him on line. Nothing but great reviews! Within 3 days of speaking with him on the phone, the case was dropped and tossed in the garbage. I did not even have to meet with him. He was easy to talk to and answered my calls. I was charged with domestic violence and hired a supposedly "well-known" criminal attorney who, basically, did **barely anything** after charging me a **non-refundable fee of $4500**. Because of my unique situation, I was in no position to accept a plea bargain. It had to be an outright dismissal or acquittal. After three months, I replaced this "well known" lawyer with Edward Ajlouny. I called Edward Ajlouny on a Sunday evening and, he not only showed up at his office, but also came up with some strategies for defense. The next day, Ed Ajlouny visited the scene of the alleged incident, scoped out the place, role-played the alleged incident, elicited all the information, and took notes and photographs. He was enthusiastic, aggressive, and detail-oriented from the very outset and did not lose the tempo and laser-focus throughout the case. The case was at a logjam and it was complicated because of the presence of an alleged "independent witness" who gave a statement to the police. When the DA would not drop the charges, we opted for a jury trial and Ed Ajlouny was meticulous in his preparation. To make a long story short, the case was dismissed and the charges were dropped the morning the jury trial was supposed to begin. Ed Ajlouny's total fees (fixed, including trial preparation and representation) were about one-third of what I would have paid the other "well known" attorney. Ed Ajlouny was worth every penny. **Pros: Extremely reasonable fees, aggressive, meticulous, affable, enthusiastic about my case. I was always comfortable in talking to him about any concern I had about my case. All calls were answered by Edward Ajlouny himself, as opposed to the calls being ambushed by a paralegal at the other law firm I had hired early on in my case. This included calls made on the weekends for a status update!! Unless Ed Ajlouny is in the courtroom, all calls are answered or returned promptly. You cannot imagine how, this alone, is a comforting factor when going through the criminal process! If you hire Ed Ajlouny, he's the one who'll work with you and not his "assistant". As a matter of fact, he does not have any assistant whatsoever and is a one-person law firm! Punctual and never late for any hearings. **Excellent analytical skills to analyze the case** and present the various options (plea bargain, reduced charges, jury trial) and their consequences. Will not railroad you into taking a plea bargain that could affect your job prospects because of background checks. *Not afraid to take a case to trial.* Extensive trial experience. You need a lawyer who has been there, done that, and got the T-shirt! Cons: None I can think of. I was fortunate to have Ed Ajlouny as my attorney.

Awesome attorney, Mr Ajlouny was brought into the case late in the game. After preliminary. But he had the confidence and composure of a true warrior. I was looking at a maximum 7 years. Mr Ajlouny kept me informed more than any other attorney I have ever worked with. He went above and beyond the capacity of an Attorney. (Got my dog back for me) LOL. Thanks Ed. Mr. Ajlouny was confident and was able to lift my spirits when I felt that I just wanted this to be over and considered changing my plea. I was faced with a domestic violence felony charge that, if convicted, could send me to prison/jail for up to a 12 months. Due to the complexity of my case and the biased nature of my domestic violence case, I was worried and felt hopeless. But thanks God and to Edward that he was able to get a settlement (from a felony charge to a misdemeanor with no jail time) from the DA office. This was a few days before we would have gone to trial. As a productive member of this society who has never been in trouble with the law throughout my entire life, this settlement means the world to me and to my career. Edward is super good at family law. He listens to his client's case details extremely well, and prepares strong and persuasive documents before approaching the prosecutors. I went to Edward (luckily I went to him!!) for help with a Child Abuse case. He was able to identify the key defending grounds in a couple of minutes. Within 10 days from our first meeting, Edward got the case dismissed with DA - before the case even reached the first court date. This is a lightening speed far beyond my expectation. I found Edward Ajlouny through Google. The situation for me was one of the most terrifying experiences I have ever had, first time arrested, and really felt injustice had been done in a big way - probably more shocked in a naive way that this could happen to me. I felt quite alone and began looking for advice in a desperate way. It was a Saturday morning, and after several calls to lawyers in the area, I got two to call me back, and Mr. Ajlouny agreed to meet with me that morning (despite the fact he had family flying in that afternoon). To keep a long story short, Mr. Ajlouny was the best choice I could have made. After listening carefully to the details of my situation, he explained very calmly the process and the steps that would need to be taken, he did not over promise, and there would be no surprises on costs . He did exactly what needed to be done, and what he said he would do, and was always available for advice and consultation over the following months. In the end I got a few breaks. I honestly believe it was because of his professionalism, not just with me, but with the authorities involved. He was also able to help me help myself, while also discovering information that I would never have known how to obtain, thus leading to him being able to get all the charges dropped. Its easy to be angry looking back on things. The legal system is so frustrating you simply want to blame everyone associated with it. Even when you are completely innocent, there is a futility and guilt that does not go away, even after more than 2 years since this happened to me. I like to think that I would still write this review even if the breaks went against me and I was convicted (I guess I would have some more time on my hands). I do know that I feel negligent not writing this sooner. Its hard to post things which you want to forget about. Mr. Ajlouny is the best lawyer one can ask for. He is very understanding and gets the job done. And he does so in a timely manner. I look at him as a family member.
