I would highly recommend Ginny. I had hired her for a domestic violence case which was dismissed. She is very detail orentioned and spent time in understanding the background of the case. Without sharing too much details Ginny fully understood the situation and put together a strategy to approach the DA’s office and got the case dismissed even before the first hearing. Insipte of her super busy schedule she made herself available to answer any questions and going through the process. She was very open about her fees and greatly appreciate her working style.

Hired Ginny to represent me for a DV case against me. She was recommended to me by one of my best friends. Being new to this country and the law systems, my whole family was very anxious and tensed. Ginny was very patient in listening to the details, always reachable and gave details which was great relief. What struck us at first glance was her demeanor and attention to detail. She asked us all the right questions needed to pursue the case. I got DUI in California. She handled my case very professionally. She went into details of the case and discussed with me. My DUI charge got dropped. My wife was charged for petty theft for a stupid mistake she did was carrying a shoe outside the shop un-knowingly and the shopkeepers won't budge to frame charges on her. She was given the yellow Chit and asked to report within a month. We were tourists travelling to USA and it was last week in US when this incident happened and going back to India. It was very difficult for us to coordinate and come back to USA to attend the case. Ginny Walia and her team took up the case and guided us throughout. With attorneys, it's not so much what you know, as it is how you present yourself. In 30 years, I've never seen an attorney walk in and take charge of the courtroom quite like Carleen. Paying a little more for top notch representation can save you thousands (or hundreds of thousands) of dollars, and quite a bit of time. With civil cases, it's more important to have a well known law firm on the letterhead, but with criminal cases, you want an attorney who is local, well known, well liked and has presence. Carleen has been all of that for 30+ years now. It is additionally important that defense attorneys are equally matched to prosecutors. Typically, the deck is stacked in favor of the prosecutor; Here, Carleen has no match. In balance, you could say that Carleen is helping to make society more just by making damned sure the prosecutor is held to his duty to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that the defendant is 100% guilty. One thing you can always count on: Carleen is never going to let an innocent person go down the river: I can say she got my high profile, trumped up, nonsense case thrown out in short order. I recently got arrested for DUI offense and Ginny was my lawyer. In my case I was caught drunk and asleep in the car while the car was parked, but under certain circumstances the police officer felt it was a DUI offense and had arrested me. Ginny successfully defended my case with the DMV and finally I never got a DUI. Her legal knowledge and legal communication is excellent. She is also a wonderful person, with a very pleasant behavior.

Life is not always peaceful. There are obstacles in life that are hard to get through and you are unsure how you are going to get through them. Ginny handled my DUI case after I learned I had misdemeanor charges and a warrant. I had been released a year earlier from court leaving me to believe charges were never filed.
