Immigrating to any country is a significant life-changing step; immigrating to the United States is even more so. While the immigration system provides a reasonably precise set of guidelines on the procedure, personal extenuating circumstances and varied experiences of different people, adds ambiguity to the entire process. As one attempts to mitigate their personal situation while making sense of legalese, it is important that a wise counsel is present to help guide in such conflicting and vulnerable time-periods. However, it is equally important that the wise counsel - an immigration lawyer, one chooses to pay attention to, have the necessary understanding, intelligence, empathy, and patience, that is absolutely sufficient for the variabilities of a particular immigration case. In Ritu, I found that wise counsel for my case. While no two immigration cases are alike, if you give her your time, she’d help find an agreeable resolution to your case.

Ritu is an excellent immigration lawyer. She is very prompt in answering/addressing her clients' questions/concerns. Needless to say that she is very good at responding to phone calls and emails. We had a very pleasant experience working with Ritu despite the USCIS delays which the attorney or the clients have no control over. She puts so much effort into creating the document packets that get filed/submitted, that, it really shows and helps the case so much. This really really told me that Ritu is very experienced in what she's doing and she knows how to make her cases standout from the crowd (in a positive way). She is pretty easy to work with because she understands her clients and their needs so well. Any immigration case calls for a lot of efforts from the clients themselves and the attorney. We were very prompt in submitting whatever documents, proofs was asked of us to her and we heard personally from her that that helped her a lot. Ritu has an amazing work ethic and I highly recommend her to anyone.

Ritu took our case, methodically navigated my husband and me through a challenging process. She was patient and clear-minded when I was not.

She helped us with my green card application in 2011. My husband hired a lawyer, who basically did not care about my case and we were invited for a second, aka Fraud Interview. Before the Fraud Interview, I fired the first attorney and hired Ritu. She was with us at the second interview, and everything went well. Our case got approved on the same day!She listens, cares, detail oriented, and respects her clients. It is huge!That time we worked together her assistant was Cat, who also an Angel. When you go in her office, you feel that she is dedicated and laser focused. She answers all your questions straight. Thank you Ritu again!!

I don't know where I would be if it wasn't for the guidance, love and support of Ritu. Ritu's practice in regards to Holistic approach is true to its word. She does not just see you as a case, a source of income, etc. She sees you as a human being, who is in need of guidance to take you to the path to freedom. If it wasn't for Ritu, I do not think I could get my removal of conditions approved and I'd continue to be stressed out had I done it myself or gone thru another lawyers. Other lawyers would either charge me more, not be as thorough and helpful as Ritu. Ritu was also very accommodating if here, it seems as if too accommodating to where clients took advantage of her kindness. I was guilty of that sometimes, and thankfully I was able to repair any misunderstanding with Ritu. I hope and pray there would be more lawyers such as Ritu in this world, she definitely gives lawyers a better name/reputation. She's not a 10 star lawyer, a minimum A million star! :)

First of all, I would like to point out that I am not a huge fan of hiring people for things that I think I can do myself. Things like household/car repairs, roofing repairs, and even minor electrical stuff around my house; I can do those myself so I have never really had the need to hire a professional. Filling for a permanent resident card seemed no different, so I did that myself too. That was my mistake. Long story short, things got a little complicated so I knew I had to hire a professional. Despite hiring Mrs. Goswamy during the middle of my messy situation, she was able to make me feel like I had nothing to worry about anymore. After explaining my dilemma and getting her input, I immediately felt like I was in good hands, and indeed I was. I liked the fact that she knew what she was talking about, and was very knowledgeable. Throughout the process, she was great to work with, and I don't think I would have been able to get through it without her help. If you're looking for an expert to help you with your immigration woes, I highly recommend Ritu Goswamy. She is not only a great lawyer, she's also a great person all around.

My wifes case began Dec, 2012. My wife came into the US on a K1 visa, and Ritu handled her adjustment of status through her 10 year greencard. You could not ask for a more professional, Courteous, and experienced attorney. Ritu made us feel like family, always relaxed and comfortable. She was quick to answer our questions and emails. Finding a legitmate, competent lawyer is very tough. My gf needed to hire an immigration lawyer for her adjustment of status. I got various recommendations thru connections, but those lawyers were either money hungry or practiced too far from San Jose. I found Ritu via Avvo and Yelp, and I was relieved and happy with the results. I sent her a consultation email, and she called back the next business day. She already sounded quite knowledgable about her case, and immediately scheduled my gf for their initial meeting. My gf was very impressed and saw how accomodating, personable and skillful. She communicates very well via email, calls and of course in person. Without Ritu's guidance, we would be lost in filing her case. You're the best, Ritu! We'll be sending more people her way. :)

Went through Ritu for applying for Green Card. She is very knowledgeable. Her staff was very helpful, organized and understanding. We didn't face any issues throughout the process.
