Gina knew exactly what we were up against, someone who isn't looking for the best interest of both parties but rather how much she can keep it going so she could bill, bill and bill. On our first day in court I knew I had hired the best, everything my ex's attorney threw at the judge was shot down, whereas with Gina's poise and her extensive knowledge of the law the judge gave me everything I asked for without throwing low blows. I found Gina on Avvo, and it is definitely the right decision. My case is very complicated - international parental abduction case. And China is not a Hague-Convention signatory country, which adds more complexity to the case. In the first consultation, Gina gives me the impression that she is knowledgeable and objective (not too optimistic for the purpose of just taking the case or too pessimistic). This makes me feel she is trustworthy. Another very important thing is that she and her team is very responsive, which is really key to our communication given our distance/timing difference. I mainly work with Gina and her team by emails, which works well for us. I retained Gina in early June, and the hearing was set on July 13th. Very good efficiency. Gina also took the right action under urgency - when I was about to fly to CA for the hearing, something risky happened. With Gina and her team's help, it is solved. With good filing/preparation/strategy by Gina and her team, I win at the first hearing, which is the best scenario that I haven't expected. Although I'm still in the process of getting my attorney fees as prevailing party for the parental abduction case, I believe I will be well represented by Gina and her team for my best interest. I would recommend Gina to represent you for Child Custody or Support case. If your case is an international one or complicated one, she can also get the job done.
