I recently ran into some trouble with the California Business and Professions Code, and I suddenly found myself charged with a violation in the felony category. In addition there was the possibility of a one-year jail sentence. A few friends had their favorite general or business attorneys to recommend, but I am glad that I judged that I needed a good criminal defense attorney. I checked out lots of attorney reviews on line. Stephanie Rickard had excellent reviews. I was able to get a timely appointment. Upon meeting with her my wife and I were impressed that she had the right combination of experience, I think she said it was 20 or 25 years, verbal ability, professional appearance, and affordable fees. She promised to get, and succeeded in getting, the case resolved for a reasonable fixed fee with the caution that a jury trial would entail additional fees, but she doubted it would need to need to go to trial. And she was right. During all the time we were waiting for the final outcome my wife and I were quite comfortable that I had a good lawyer working for me. So now I am pleased that I have no felony on my record, just 2 counts of a misdemeanor and 200 hours of community service to do. I can recommend Stephanie Rickard with no reservation. Five stars in every category.

I would advise anyone facing criminal charges to hire Stephanie and have her represent them all the way to the box if needed. I was facing some serious charges myself and was preparing myself to go to prison for a long time. She worked her magic and i got 6 months with half in the county jail.
