A family friend referred me to Andy Gillin, after a horrible car accident that left me in the hospital for 3 days. I couldn't have been more relieved to have Andy on my side. District Attorney Stephanie Rickard handled my case at it's best. I was entrapped at the G Bar while waiting for one of the owner Carlos for my signed off NFL Super Bowl scorecard. I went to the bathroom 2 times, left my IPA beer at the bar on 2 instances on a 2-hr window, and somehow, someone told me that a jealous guy spiked my beers with Absinthe. When i went to my Mercedes S550 driver seat at the parking lot, as soon as the reverse light was on, 2 police cars block my reverse. I asked what is the situation officers? I was then told that someone called 911 that I am not in the proper condition to drive my vehicle. Anyhow, to cut the story short, Attorney Stephanie advised me to take the plea vs fight the whole thing at the court, in which I may win or lose the case. She stated that a DUI is a DUI, no matter what the circumstances were. I took the plea, completed my community service, paid the fine, signed up with the classes via Zoom, and am able to drive my vehicle again (with an Interlock device installed), and got my life back to normal. Lesson learned for me - 1. I won't drink and drive anymore 2. I won't go to any bar by myself anymore 3. I would limit my drink to 2 glasses of wine (with my wife) 4. I would go to Church every Sunday morning to listen to sermon 5. I would focus on my Product Engineering work at an Intel acquired firm so we can be successful to go IPO in 2-3 years 6. I would retire to visit the properties we procured worldwide, play tennis and golf everyday, and possibly entertain crowds as i grew up as a musician in my early years. Sincerely, RDeLara
