To say that I am elated with GJEL Accident Attorneys is to put it mildly. They were able to achieve compensation for me in an amount equal to five times what the insurance offered. This was the result of a bike accident I had with a car on August 7, 2024, when the car, parallel parked on Bryant Street in Palo Alto, pulled out to make a U-turn in front of me. The driver did not look. I could not stop and we collided. I spent three hours in Emergency at the local hospital and my bike had a bent handlebar. GJEL Attorneys were very helpful, accommodating and thorough and I am very pleased with the result.

I can only speak in superlatives for Jim Larsen, Andy Gillin and the legal assistants staff at GJEL. They represented me following an accident in which I was hit by a car at a crosswalk while riding my bike. My ankle was broken and severely sprained, and the incident resulted in long-term pain and emotional trauma. My case involved two insurance companies, the driver's and my own because the driver was underinsured. Andy Gillin negotiated the case involving the driver's insurance company. He's firm and direct in negotiating. He predicted a hard case based on the particular company but it worked out quickly and they made a full settlement offer. Jim Larsen handled the 2nd case with my insurance company for underinsured motorist which proved to be challenging. He was dogged yet diplomatic at every turn. I did a deposition and, while personally very nervous, felt well-prepared and supported by Jim and the GJEL team. Jim concluded the case with a stellar written summation. The insurance company came back with a full settlement offer. I'm happy to have this case recently concluded and I thank Jim Larsen, Andy Gillin and the GJEL staff for their expertise and personal support, and recommend them and the firm with the highest regard.

Andrew Marcellino is a great lawyer his representing me since my sons have been about one year old!!! At times, I was a difficult customer because I didn’t always get the immediate outcomes I wanted, but he always gave me the best advice and regardless of how I felt, he would tell me what the outcome would most likely be based on my situation but even if I didn’t get the outcome, I wanted it he always told me how to move forward and gave me the best advice so now not to hurt my case, if I want to regain custody I would highly recommend it for any custody situation you’re going through.
