I am extremely grateful for the work of Susan Lustig and her assistant, Jonathon Reynolds, in handling my divorce. They were attentive, easy to reach and very knowledgeable. I was shocked when my wife filed for divorce, deciding I was no longer fun when I became ill. My circumstances were somewhat unique. Shortly after hiring Susan, I was hospitalized with septic shock. I nearly died and was unable to handle my affairs, so she worked with my son, who had my power of attorney. After my recovery I helped with documentation of separate property. In short, I married late in life. 97% of what I owned I had before marriage. I had not asked my then future wife for a prenuptial agreement. Susan and Jonathon’s extensive research uncovered dozens of documents, proving what I owned before I met my wife as my separate property. When my greedy wife read Susan’s trial brief with its extensive documentation, she immediately requested we settle out of court. We did, and my now ex-wife received considerably less that I had offered her prior to her getting lawyers involved. I am so happy I hired Susan Lustig!
