I do not often bother to do reviews online, but George O'Neill is an outstanding attorney and most certainly worth the effort to endorse. Specifically, due to the factors involved in my case, there were many different possible courses of action and George was very patient in explaining the different variables with me...and re-explaining as needed. He was also very patient with me when I changed my mind after a couple meetings regarding the action to take. He was very organized and attended all court hearings even though there were multiple postponements (I've heard of attorneys missing court dates). Also, all requests for additional information/call backs were always returned promptly and his office manager, Casey, was always welcoming and gracious. Thank you very much George O'Neill and staff.

I had a very trusting and reliable experience working with George. When I was looking for a lawyer at a time of high urgency, he was responsive, reassuring that there were options, and was ready to work with me to resolve the issue. I was concerned that living out of town would make it difficult for me to communicate with George, however George was prompt on responding to phone calls and emails, and was open to weekly check-ins. I checked in with George through all steps of the process, and he was able to guide me clearly on what actions I needed to take. Having been my first experience in this situation, he alleviated a lot of the stress and hassle I would have had to deal with on my own. George is understanding, willing to work with you, and is proactive. I would highly recommend George as a lawyer, I had a great experience working with him.

I was up against some serious felony charges and George walked me through the whole process. He faught hard for me and I ended up with only a misdemeanor conviction. Any time throughout the whole ordeal if I had any questions or concerns he was just a phone call or email away and any time that he was busy with court or other cases his assistant Casey was right there to help and George always got right back to me. I was charged with DUI on beach at Oceano Dunes in Pismo beach. After doing research on the web, I called George and he was very helpful and gave me good guidance. He was able to get the DUI dropped (had 0.082% BAL) to just a speeding ticket on a beach. He explained everything in very detail and was able to answer all of my questions and concerns and was able to point me in the right direction. Best part was that he handled everything on his own and I didn't had to make a single trip to SLO court or to the DMV hearing. I will definitely recommend George!

After seeing meeting with 4 attorneys regarding my case they all said the same thing to take a certain plea deal and be done with it and to have cash up front both those i could not accept. I was referred to George by a local attorney. we spoke briefly on the phone and after listening to my story he had promised to fight it till the end as well as taking payments on my case. We never met face to face due to me not being local, but he held his promise and went far beyond my expectations as well as keeping me updated on my case weekly. I received a DUI in SLO last December. I felt overwhelmed, as I am sure anyone in my situation does. I found George O'Neill online and was so glad I did. He really looks over your case to find the best way to move forward. My situation was pretty cut and dry, but still he was an enormous help. It felt really good to hand my paperwork over to George and feel confident knowing he had everything under control. He shows up in court for you, so I didn't have to miss work or deal with appearing in front of the judge which would surely have been a bit stressful/emotional. Also, he was able to get my license suspension started within a day or two, which has been helpful because it was that much sooner before I could serve out my suspension. He is also very friendly and makes you feel like he cares. He goes over your options for alcohol programs, SR-22 insurance, book & release vs. community service, etc, and really covers all of the bases and makes you feel like you know what is going on. You can email (or even text!) him at any time and he responds very quickly. I had so many questions through the process about my license, job, fine payment, etc and he was always quick and helpful. After my appointment at his office, he even offered to drive me to register for my DUI class when he realized it would be closing for the weekend soon. He also set up my fine payments for me, saving me another difficult trip to SLO without a license. All in all, I would recommend George to anyone who finds themselves in the same situation I once was in. He really puts you at ease and makes the entire process as painless as possible.

I never thought that having to deal with a lawyer could be so enjoyable. George was an absolute delight to have represent me in court! Throughout all of our interactions, George was patient, helpful, and kind. He responded to all of my emails and phone calls within hours and took the time to answer every question I had. His staff was also extremely helpful and professional. I was kept informed of every step in the process. and I never felt like I had been forgotten. I had been charged with DUI and DWI, though the police had not collected any conclusive evidence for either. The DAs assigned to the case initially refused to acknowledge the lack of evidence. Over the course of several months, he negotiated the charges down to a single point, non-alcohol related infraction: 23109 b, aiding or abetting a motor vehicle speed contest. This man knows the justice system, he knows the DAs, and he knows the law. After looking at your case, he will tell you exactly what to expect, and he will get you the best possible outcome given your circumstances. 5/5 would recommend. If you've made a mistake, this is the man you want on your side.

I was in SLO for a wedding so I do not live in SLO county. Made a decision to drive after hanging out at the bar with the wedding party. This was my first DUI so didn't know what to do. Since I lived in San Jose, I contacted George to represent me at the hearing, and to take care of everything else too. George put my concerns at ease, answered all my questions multiple times, and told me exactly what to do in my situation. He took care of everything so I didn't have to drive back down to SLO. I only made one trip for a Book & Release with the country Sheriff. George is very efficient and too the point, and doesn't leave any stones unturned. I recommend him to anyone caught with a DUI!
