Jeffrey Stein helped me through a rough spot in life, which, sometimes can be complicated. And, did so amidst a very busy schedule. He successfully managed my case with genuine concern. His mind is keen has good knowledge of what is required to resolve an unfortunate circumstance. I was referred to Jeff by my business attorney. Jeff’s character was above reproach. He was calm, caring and non-judgmental. Nor did he sugar-coat things. His approach was refreshing. He laid out the situation in an honest manner not over or under selling our situation. He knew the law and devised a strategy for success, based on our situation. I was so pleased with the service and representation we received from Jeff Stein. When I first contacted his firm to inquire about representation, I did so by submitting an email about my matter (which by the way was submitted early on a Monday morning, following a long holiday weekend). Jeff Stein returned my call himself in about an hour of my submission! From that moment forward I felt I was in good hands. He was always quick to respond to a phone call or email. He was accurate in the information he provided, and his advice on how to proceed turned out to be spot on. We could not have hoped for a more favorable outcome. I called Stein & Casciola for a free consultation, not sure what to expect (it was the first time I'd called a legal firm). Jeffrey Stein was immediately available, and he ended up working with me on my legal issue over the period of 3 weeks, *all without pressure and for free*. Mr. Stein ended up helping me with all of following: - We exchanged 3 phone calls, once a week. In my first call, he made sure to fully understand my legal issue and he clearly explained to me my options and the expected cost and likelihood of success for each of them. He explained to me past similar cases he'd dealt with - this was very reassuring, as my case was very common, and he's been practicing for 25+ years. In the subsequent calls he followed up with me closely on court documents he'd obtained for me and on a number of questions I'd come up with. - Mr. Stein answered several long lists of questions I'd emailed him in very clear detail. - Mr. Stein was very persistent in trying to obtain the relevant court documents for my legal issue. For several weeks the court didn't have them ready, but Mr. Stein's office kept at it each day until they were finally released. All throughout, Mr. Stein was very professional, patient, and thoughtful. I imagine all this took up much more than the free 60 minutes of consultation time advertised on his web page, which I thought was even more remarkable because my legal issue was actually quite minor. In the end, I didn't even end up paying for his legal services because the legal advice he gave me told me I wouldn't need an attorney, even as his quote was quite reasonable. I think this says much about how fair Mr. Stein is. I have full confidence in Mr. Stein, and would recommend him to anyone with a legal issue in SLO county.

Jeffery Stein was extremely responsive and took time and care to learn every detail of my case. He was very creative and knowledgable in choosing which angles he would choose to fight the case. He was easy to talk to, and reassuring.
