Todos los abogados que me habían tocado, sentía me discriminaban o no tomaban enserio mi caso, el señor Rudy fue cálido y amable, espero seguir con esta impresión y contar ganado mi caso en un futuro.

In my opinion, Attorney Rudy Aguirre deserves no stars, but I had to mark at least one star for the POOR Rating. He is a Zero Rating Attorney in my eyes and should retire or be disbarred from practicing law. If you want an attorney that knows divorce law and will fight for you, do NOT HIRE Attorney Rudy Aguirre. He is not aggressive and will not fight for you, and does not seem to be up to date on the divorce laws. Everything went in the opposing attorneys favor because he bends to opposing attorney's request. Even a First Year Law Student could of negotiated a better outcome in court. He is like a bad plastic surgeon that has done botched jobs and leaves you disfigured and broke.

Attorney was terminated by me within days of hiring him for incompetence. I requested up to date time slips at time of terminating his services. He rendered these. Then when I received my refund he had went up approximately $385.00 on my bill which resulted in less of a refund than what he had promised. Attorney rendered no retainer agreement at time of receiving a $1,500 retainer from me. This is required by The State bar Association. I filed a complaint with the Los Angeles BBB and the complaint has been logged as "UNRESOLVED" as of 07/09/13. In responding to the BBB complaint Mr. Aguirre rendered privileged client-attorney documents between just he and I.

Thanks to Rudy I was awarded full legal physical custody of my son. I was a single mother working two jobs and Rudy was kind enough to take my case at a low retainer fee. Every penny I spent towards my attorney was well spent.

This attorney worked on my case for close to two years. He was not prepared for my divorce trial, nor did he bring in the necessary resources to present my case. I had a mistrial partially due to a forensic accountant gross analysis and most important this attorney's lack of preparation to represent to the judge a more accurate financial analysis.
This attorney also deceived me in accepting a portion of a asset from the community property. He told me that this money was for me. Once the money reached his office, he told me that he was keeping it. This money, as other attorneys have informed me was intended for me, not for attorney fees. He kept my part of a community property as payment to himself. Despite the fact that several lawyers have written him to return this money to me, he refused.
I also had to defend myself in criminal court against my x-husband because this attorney did not do what he said he was going to do while my abusive x-husband was in the house. He was to ensure that it went smoothly, My X started to push and shove me and we got into a confrontation, while this attorney was downstairs in the kitchen. His job was to escort my X through the house. My X lied about what happened in the confrontation, and my witness, my attorney was downstairs in the kitchen saw nothing, the one who was suppose to ensure that this "walk out" happened without problems. I had to spend thousands of dollars in my criminal case because this attorney did not do what he said he was going to do. In the end he took my money and I did not get anything back but problems. He did not finalized my case.
This attorney's billing was in the thousand and thousands of dollars and all I got was a mistrial and a criminal trial. I did get a non-guilty verdict in my criminal case, as my X lied on the witness stand, just as he lied to the police who came to the house during that incident. Nevertheless, this would not have happened if my attorney had been doing his job. Later, he admitted to me to me that he was partially to blame for this incident.
I would not recommend this attorney to anyone to hire. He was not interested in representing me, nor fight for me to get a fair settlement, His objective was to get lots of billing hours.

I hired this attorney out to desperation and it turned out to be the worst decision conerning my divorce. He never reponded to any actions my ex-wife's attorney filed. Made basic mistakes which tied us up in court for a year longer than necessary. He would show up to court un-prepared and never would review any documents that I would prepare for him to submit to the court. He seemed to not care about protecting my interests just increasing his billable hours. He would make statements that I would research and find his legal knowledge very limited. He turned out to be just a paper pusher and not a real lawyer. I eventually had to terminate him as my legal counsel if not I would still be in court and he would be running up his bill without doing anything except showing up to court and listening to me represent myself.
