Kate responded very quickly to a question I submitted on her website (http://www.katewarnerlaw.com/). We had an issue with a contractor that was doing work at our house. The work was originally scheduled to be finished in 3 weeks, but wasn't even after 4 months. Kate run a quick check on him and realized that there was a pattern of similar complaints and judgement against him. She suggested that we move forward another route first and if that did not work we could go back to her. Although we never worked with her before she gave us a free, quick and very honest advise. But if you do, Kate Warner will help you get the job done! We replaced our 2 decks 7 years ago to the tune of $45,000 due to severe water damage from faulty flashing. Then after 6 years we not only had severe water damage again but also major support beam (glulam) water rot. Kate helped us move forward with the contractor who wouldn't give us the time of day until she advised us on the letter to send. This all after she sent out a top notch Building Inspector to determine the the actual situation. His incredible photo documented report and "Kate's letter" not only got the contractor's attention, but we were then able to move forward to get our decks replaced the right way this time. We learned along the way and she kept us realistic in terms of what we could expect, utilizing the least amount of "billable hours" possible.
