Last October I was going through a lot of life changes and ended up getting myself into some trouble by getting a speeding ticket. I was advised to hire an attorney to help me with this but I decided to take my punishment and deal with the consequences. While I attempted to log in to the zoom court I was given a mandatory appearance I couldn't log on and I was sanctioned with a 30-day license suspension, a $500 fee, and a point on my driving record. I then read the court minutes sent to me and I saw that I still had an opportunity to contest the court decision. I then searched on yelp and began reaching out to attorneys for a professional opinion. I reached out to a couple of them and everyone kept recommending John Stanko to me. I then saw the office's yelp reviews and I signed up for a consultation. Mr.Stanko was to the point and realistic about what the process looked like and set realistic expectations for me as a client which I really appreciated. Once we completed the contract he got right to work and attended court for me. He kept me informed along the way through email which I really appreciated given that I have office hours for work and we had a great outcome overall. Mr. Stanko helped me avoid all fees, a suspension, and all charges dropped. I was very very shocked because I was hoping I would be lucky to just get into traffic school and hoping I could do community service. Overall Mr.Stanko is very affordable for the work he provides and the representation he gives. Thank you so much for helping me during this very stressful time although I am responsible for my actions I could not have afforded the increased rates on my car insurance long term. I am very conscious of my speed now and hope to not have to go through this process again. When I contacted Summit defense they responded immediately. Rabin Nabizadeh phoned me about my concerns of being faced with charges that were false and misread by the officers. He listened to my story and understood immediately. He tried phoning the DA immediately and let me know the DA office already returned my case back to the police department, which likely not gonna come back to the DA office. Unfortunately, I found myself in a bad situation with a DUI arrest. Luckily, I was able to find and hire the best DUI attorney in Marin County. Attorney Aaron Bortel had the perfect combination of empathetic, bed-side manner of any attorney I have ever had to work with, while at the same time he still delivered the hard facts and information I needed to hear. I don't wish a DUI in Marin Co. on anyone but if you do end up arrested with a charge, I wouldn't recommend anyone else in Marin County.
