To set the stage, I'm a father in CA who won custody of my two daughters. This is not normal, but with Marie it can. When you're going through the legal process it is not only the other side you deal with but your unfamiliarity with the system can draw up all kinds of emotions & stress. That all went away when you're working with a talented, thoughtful and seasoned professional like Marie. Every step of the way the vision was met and I didn't think, I knew Marie realized what was at stake...it wasn't me, it wasn't another win for her, it was the future of two amazing girls who needed to be in a significantly better, less toxic situation. I refuse to make the typical lawyer jokes anymore because someone like Marie exists and would hate for that stereotype to fall on such a tremendous attorney and person. I heard the horror stories of lawyers just taking cases on for retainers and fees, I've felt the frustration of the system, and know the strain court can put on your finances, however if you're looking to put your trust towards producing the best outcome possible given any situation I hope this review helps guide you towards hiring Marie Braun, simply the best.

Ms. Braun was my attorney in an extremely contentious child custody case. She was the best.

My partner and I hired Marie Braun to help him through his divorce. It had stalled after three years of separation and seemed no end was in sight. Ms. Braun was wonderful in keeping perspective in our case. This was a severe alienation case and lies about payment of support. The other party did not keep any records of support payments made and filed a ridiculous claim that no support was made. Marie meticulously went through all bank records and wage garnishments and determined the OVER payment of over $15,000! She also was able to get the court to modify a custody order to help get back to a reasonable visitation schedule. When we felt desperate that there would be no end to this, she helped encourage us. We were truly grateful for her help in getting our case on a forward track. I would recommend her to any of my friends going through a divorce.

Mrs. Braun was referred to me by a family friend and represented me in family court for a child custody dispute. I could not have asked for a better experience in terms of my encounter with her. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional (without being stuffy or distant). She listened to me and worked hard to ensure my child’s needs were met. More than once she appeared to drop everything to deal with what urgent matters involving my child’s safety and she did not stop working until the matters were thoroughly addressed. She consistently went above and beyond to help me. Once, during the course of this family law case, a different legal issue (beyond family court) arose and Mrs. Braun helped me by finding a colleague who specialized in that type of law to advise me. Additionally, she is so patient and fair in her billing practices. She also clearly explained every answer to every question I had, in addition to explaining what was happening with my case. She’s a real person who just gets it and she treated me with kindness and respect. In the end, I received SOLE legal and SOLE physical custody of my child and I know this could not have happened with Mrs. Braun (and God ;) by my side…. I highly recommend Marie Braun and will hire her again if I ever end up in family court again.

I highly recommend Marie Braun's services, her expertise and demeanor are exceptional. She was extremely fair with her rates and an absolute professional in communicating and advocating fairness in my case which involved spousal support. Where she really shined was in the courtroom she made opposing council look unprepared and at some points flustered. Marie is fair and great at her profession.
