I contacted Michael Franco after I had a chapter 13 case dismissed due to not being able to keep up with the payment plan. I explained to the previous lawyer at the time of my situation and how complex it was. I informed the lawyer that I would not be able to keep up with the payment that they felt was suitable because of my average gross they calculated at the time. I explained that my salary would fluctuate in upcoming months. The lawyer explained to me that there was no other option other than a chapter 13 because of my base salary being over California’s median income, not taking all my expenses and deductions into consideration and chapter 7 would not be an option. After my case was dismissed , I found Michael Franco and gave him a call and spoke to him personally. I explained to Michael how complicated my situation was and my previous experience with the other lawyer, hoping there would be another option.
