On February 26th of this year, I was involved in a bicycle accident that left me with a serious injury which required emergency surgery. As soon as it happened, I knew I would need excellent, professional legal assistance to deal with the nightmare ahead of me. I hired Alise Fonseca of Harris Personal Injury Lawyers in Santa Barbara. Alise has made what should have been a very difficult time indescribably easy. By taking over everything, she enabled me to concentrate on resting and healing, both physically and psychologically. I was in no shape to make critical decisions or deal with the stress of litigation. I can't imagine trying to build my own case while dealing with pain management, the effects of medications, the depression losing my active lifestyle and the stress of being out of work. To name just a few things, Alise saved me from spending hours on the phone collecting medical records, police reports and dealing with insurance adjusters. She has a comprehensive knowledge of law and insurance tactics so she knows how to maneuver through obstacles presented that can weaken a case. She has experience negotiating with big auto insurance companies and their team of lawyers. Alise has established a close, one on one relationship with me. She genuinely cares about me and my case. The person responsible for the accident had only the minimum insurance coverage. Knowing my case wouldn't amount to much compensation for her hard work did not sway her enthusiasm or commitment to win the best possible outcome. She will always be much more than a lawyer to me. She is a part of my family.

Updated review: Everyone is so professional and friendly. They help you understand the process and really take care of you. Being in a car accident and dealing with insurance companies is stressful but Harris Personal Injury Lawyers take care of everything for you with diligence and respect. It's nice to know that they have Spanish speaking staff and Attorneys. If any of my Spanish speaking family members ever got in an accident, it's nice to know HPI can help them too!
