5.0 star rating 11/9/15 Like David who slew Goliath, Dave Secrest entered the battlefield created by my wrong termination and faced the corporate giant responsible for this atrocity. With unlimited money to finance one of the most successful legal teams in the Bay Area, the Archdiocese presented a defense in which David skillfully found its vulnerable areas. Using his depth of lawful knowledge, his focused and strategic attack, and his unwavering confidence in the innocence of his client, Dave slew the giant. It was a victory overflowing with satisfaction, and the termination was recognized for what it was, wrongful! My heart is still filled with gratitude for this gifted and professional lawyer.

Having never sued anyone for personally injury, I was in a real quandry to know what to do or where to go when my foot was crushed by an absent-minded, and blithe waiter. Rather than properly attempt to address the issue, the owner of this local restaurant chose to treat me with contempt. Dave is living proof that you can be a good attorney and a good person at the same time. When he makes a promise, he keeps it. When he gives you an estimate, you can count on it. Very little because we did very well, and when you do very well, you usually have to sign an agreement where you promise to avoid talking about how well you did. What I can say is this: A dozen different firms told me I had a strong case, but refused to take it because it was 'too small'. Mr. Seacrest represented myself for an employment law case. I would like to say he is very skilled, detail oriented, and very understanding individual. Other lawyers only care about the money, but Mr. Seacrest listens to what you have to say, and try to understand how you felt, and what you went through, through your eyes. After being injured in an accident with an uninsured motorist, I was at first angry, worried, scared and very frustrated. My insurance wouldn't do anything for me and said they couldn't cover because the other person was saying he did have coverage, which he obviously didn't. I was lost, in pain, no health insurance and only car insurance which was not helpful. I saw Chad Prentice a couple days after my accident, signed a couple of forms, saw a Dr. that Chad recommended and had worked with before (at no cost to me). Chad Prentice made quick work of the insurance company which was treating me like a piece of trash, got me fixed up with the doctors and alleviated all the bad things that came with the accident. Chad is a true professional, kept me up to date on how things were going, gave me a realistic advice on how everything would go, made his staff readily available when I had questions and really just made a literally painful situation kind of just go away. There should be six stars for this kind of service.

David is such a knowledgeable and dynamic attorney to work with, it was a honor that he would pick up my case and be my advocate. I had no prior law background or involvement in a lawsuit prior to contacting David. My case involved wrongful termination from my previous employer. From the start he explained everything clearly and provided direction and options throughout each step. He thoroughly reviewed every part of my case and critically examined every angle that may be challenged by the opposing party. I was referred to Maho and Prentice because a couple of years ago I was involved in a Personal Injury accident against the City of Santa Barbara.
