In the past five months, Stephen Penner and Jeremy Purves assisted us with three separate business matters, including a detailed, comprehensive business succession plan and a complex employment problem. In all matters they exhibited a rare mix of patience and kindness, penetrating intelligence and an astute knowledge of the law—and at the finish, Steve negotiated results that saved us a very large sum of money. We will use them for all our legal needs in the future.

Steve Penner is truly an outstanding attorney. I had a difficult case involving my daughter. She was uncooperative which made everything extremely difficult. Steve was patient, kind, compassionate and understanding. He was able to work with the attorneys that were representing the other side and the judge. Through creative planning Steve came up with solutions that worked and were effective . Two misdemeanor cases were dismissed without Steve’s professionalism and acumen I do not think we would have achieve the same result with another attorney.

Went to Stephen Penner for some simple estate planning...I do not recommend at all - he was rude, a poor communicator, and attempted to do a bait-and-switch on his pricing. When we arrived for our appointment he ignored us for almost an hour, then finally took down all our information that I had already given him over the phone, and at the end proceeded to tell us that he wanted to charge us many times over the previously negotiated rate for the service. This was for a simple will! I referred him to the previously negotiated rate - then he totally dropped us like a hot potato - no calls returned, no follow up with us, no apology for misunderstanding, nothing. Wasted hours of my time. Some research I should have done PRIOR to meeting with him also shows that he's had his license to practice law suspended more than once - not trustworthy.
