Consulted Jude and being a potential out of state clinic, I came with much apprehension. He definitely listened, responsed and explained what he does in a case that I’m approaching. Giving him as much history as I could, he was able to articulate how the court system works there and what could be the best route if we ended up presenting this case in front of the court.

Mr. Egan did work for my wife and I during a very long and drawn out mediation. He was great to work with, explained how the process would go and what to watch out for. During negotiations he kept a cool head and was able to calmly analyze the situation. I highly recommend him!

This man is just totally inept… I had a full on hour plus conversation with the man about my case and he called me back the next day asking questions indicating he had NO (zero) recollection of the conversation at ALL. When I parted ways him, his paralegal sent me my files AND a whole bunch of other people's info, including but not limited to: names, addresses, testimony, case numbers, social security numbers, etc. YIKES! (Not to worry, I shredded it all) He is a nice enough guy, just not one I would trust important matters with, ****UPDATE 8/18**** ... concerning Jude’s super defensive owner response below: Hmmm… not quite sure how your argument relates to the points brought up in my review? I did indeed fall victim to security hack. I can’t and won’t apologize for the creep responsible, but I sure do feel badly that you and your wife were affected negatively by it as well. But back to the point at hand…. HOW exactly does my security breech, relate to YOUR office sending me the files of MANY of your other clients? Gosh - I am not sure it does. Other than trying to attempt to attack my character, the fact remains that you’re paralegal photo-copied and sent me the personal information of MANY of your other clients via snail-mail included in my own personal file. It is not at all a lie. If you think it is - perhaps you should contact the court clerk as well as the other attorneys involved. Not knowing what the heck to do with these random people’s info, and not hearing back from you, I contacted them to try to get their info back. I think your “pro bono” work, which was actually a contingency; that the commissioner ordered the other parent to pay you your fee of some $500 to you in legal fees; was not half bad. You reached a decent settlement, all things considered, in my case. You, of course, could have showed up on time, and better prepared, but I was not outraged at the outcome at all. MY review was NOT about that though, nor was it about your character in general - it was regarding the fact that your client information is NOT safe with you. If you “accidentally” mailed other clients’ information to me to me, it begs the question, who has my information? That is all really. I think the public has the right to know that their names, addresses, social security numbers, etc. could end up in the hands of total strangers. And that is a scary thing that raises all sorts of ethical and confidentiality questions about you. I am particularly sensitive to it because of the identity theft I went through.

Hired this doctor Egan fellow he is actuallly a PhD and spent over $2000. He was set to try to try to collect back child support from the other parent and didn’t respond to phone calls or emails. His legal assistant would answer for him when I was trying to reach him. The results were not what was expected. He watches the clock and doesn’t respond to lower income clients. Why take on this case if you aren’t trying to resolve a dispute between the parents so the child benefits? Great talker, very convincing but all about the Benjamins.

It was getting late. My husband and I had just had a discussion about what do with our daughter's situation. She and her husband were being pushed around by CWS. My husband and I live two hours away from our daughter. We were not sure who to call. I had been told about M. Jude Egan. My husband had to go to bed. I proceeded to find Mr. Egan's website. I composed an email about our dilemma and sent it off hoping I'd hear from his office the next day. I began to get ready for bed when I heard my phone ding! I got on my email and saw I had a response from Jude himself! TALK ABOUT SERVICE.... We had less than 24 hours to secure a lawyer. Though Jude was in court all the next day he made time to see our daughter and son in law the next evening. Jude's knowledge and compassion were invaluable. I hired Jude for a child custody case. He is very professional and educated in family law. My case was long and drawn out, and he always made all the deadlines I needed and always responded to any correspondence quickly. He made a stressful and scary process very manageable. I am a single father and active duty enlistedman. My family law case encompasses Child Custody, Support, Divorce, and Move-Away Orders. Jude’s thorough research into my case and related case law along with his expert litigation skill have garnered me sole physical and legal custody of my young children. It’s exceedingly rare in the state of California for a father to be awarded such a privilege. Even rarer is a father receiving out of state move-away orders with his children, which is the Court’s current tentative ruling. Jude and his staff have an in-depth understanding of how governing military guidelines and military law can and cannot impact a civilian family law case. This knowledge has been pivotal at disarming the abuse of mandated reporting authorities to include my chain of command, on-base family advocacy social workers, and even Child Welfare Services (CWS). These attacks were meant to strip me of my parental rights as well as my career. Jude effectively convinced the court to reserve judgement until all aspects of this case had been revealed. The result is that my children are safely with me and their best interests are at the forefront of the Court’s decision-making. Additionally, Jude and his staff have been compassionate to my situation and have always been respectful. My children and I will always be thankful for the positive life changing impact Jude and his law firm have had on our lives.

Anyone looking for an AMAZING lawyer, this is your man. Jude is the best of the best. My husband and I had a very complicated case and had no idea what the outcome would be. Jude at every step of the way was very honest and always fought for our best interest. He has an excellent team as well, Kristen is a super star at what she does. We couldn't be happier with our outcome, and that is all thanks to Jude and his amazing team!

Anyone dealing with family law issues needs to definitely call the law office of Mr. Jude Egan. He is the best of the best, and the staff is amazing. They are a true definition of a TEAM! He represented my husband and I when we saw our selfs in a true nightmare. He not only gave us our life back but helped to keep our family together. I can go on and on about this amazing law office!
