I hired Steve after 2 bad experiences with prior attorneys on this case. I wish I had been referred to him first. The 1st attorney was a Advertising Mill that was incompentant and arrogant (Kavinoky). After firing them I went to another who was pleasant but did nothing andI was looking at the worst case scenario. In the 11th hour I was referred to Steve. I cannot express my gratitude and highly recommend him enough. He got results that were nothing short of a miracle. NONE of the other attorneys were able to make any progress or even get the information heard. If you find yourself in a legal problem, don't waste your time asking around- go directly to Steve Cron. Save yourself all the frustration and worry.

Steve Cron was referred to me with high expectations. He was an extreme disappointment. I felt he was more concerned about collecting my money rather than helping me. He showed up late to ever court date except one, eating milk duds and flirting with every woman he knew in the court room while rubbing elbows with the DA to gain a new alliance rather than going to bat for me. My sentence quadrupled by the time we completed our year worth of court dates. It went from a wobbler to me being sentenced to a felony and 6 months in jail. I asked him to please call two friends once i was taken into custody to give them my information such as my booking number in order to get money on my books, etc...he failed to even do that one small task. Furthermore, he gave me incorrect information on when to start my community labor and more importantly when my probation start date was, so once I was released from custody and showed up to my probation officer I was slapped with a violation for being 2 months late. The entire ordeal was very emotional, he had a tendency of being very condescending and lacked empathy of any sort. I would have been better off going with a public defender and saving my $8,500 which I had to bleed to get.

We have the highest respect and are very grateful for having Steve defend our son in a case where he has charged initially with "assault with a deadly weapon", then reduced to a felony "assault to cause great bodily harm". While our son was home for summer break from college , he attended a birthday party at a popular west side restaurant. Late in the evening, an argument broke out, a brawl ensued and four young men had been cut with a knife. The party goer how had the knife admitted to the police that it was his and he was the only person with a knife. As parents we reached out to a family member who is very well respected Aviation attorney to see if he could recommend the correct attorney for our case. It was Steve Cron. I called and set an appointment to meet with Steve. He could not have been more kind and knowledgable. He suggested we call our son who was back at school and so we called right then and there! Ben flew down to meet Steve and showed him the location where the brawl took place, in order for Steve to picture for himself what things looked like. How many lawyers would do that? I was impressed. At two court appointments preceding the preliminary trial, I was again impressed with his interactions with members of the court. I could tell he was both known, well liked and respected by all, including the Judges. After a day long preliminary hearing, where Steve was calm and professional,asking all the right questions of the witnesses, he moved to have the case dismissed. The prosecutor fired back with a flood of accusations about our son. Steve, still composed gave four or five statements of facts and conclusions. THE JUDGE DISMISSED ALL CHARGES AGAINST OUR SON ! We can't say enough about Steve and his assistant Liz. They treated us like family. If you, a family member or friend needs the best legal representation, we would recommend Steve as the man to hire! I received my first (and hopefully last) DUI back in October and like everyone else, I was freaking out. I was worried I was gonna lose my job and get into some financial hardship let alone deal with the court system. After meeting with Steve for the first time, I knew right then and there that he was the man to help guide me through the process. Although we received results from a blood test that we both weren't expecting, Steve went above and beyond to help reassure that everything would be fine and would get me back on the path to correct my mistake. I went to Cron and Israel and I had a difficult past to work with within the court system. I was facing misdemeanor charges that could possibly put me in jail for a long time. They helped me get back on my feet and helped me to get into a program where I could get control of my life again. They are the reason I am a successful businessman today.. I was headed down for the final count. Mr. Cron and his partners are knowledgeable of all California case law and know everyone in the District Attorneys office. In addition, his firm eased the burden on my family and loved ones through my court case and established a life long bond with my family. I liked how they always took the necessary time to talk to me about my case.

I was arrested for domestic violence and due to my prior arrest, the prosecutor was demanding that I serve 30 days in jail and complete a one year anger management program as part of a three year probation. Mr. Cron filed numerous motions to get access to my accuser's prior allegations of domestic violence against me and others. He was able to prove that my accuser was not trustworthy or credible. In the end, my domestic violence charges were dismissed. I really like how aggressively Mr. Cron fought on my behalf and continued to negotiate with the prosecutor. I highly recommend him.

I made a mistake by forgetting that I had a loaded handgun in my suitcase. When I went to the Burbank Airport, I was arrested as I attempted to board the plane. Mr. Cron was able to convince the prosecutor that I had made an innocent mistake. I was allowed to perform only 15 days of community service and my charges were dismissed after I completed my hours. I was impressed with his negotiating skills and especially liked how he kept me informed through every step of the legal process. I highly recommend Mr. Cron for anyone needing experienced legal representation.

A failure to appear for a misdemeanor charge resulted in a bench warrant. I tried to just ignore it for a few months but eventually decided to A) see if there was a warrant, and B) if YES, see what could be done about it. Steve Cron, who has three and a half decades of experience and knows the ins and outs of LA Courts, swiftly had the case dismissed. I really liked how Steve always promptly returned my calls. I cannot describe the sense of relief that came when they did that, and so quickly. Thank you again!

if you need a criminal lawyer in Los Angeles, Steve is your guy. The numbers on my car came back as stolen and I was arrested for grand theft. It turns out that it was the dealer's problem when he bought the car. It was a mess and Mr. Cron saved me. He handled my case like a pro! I was impressed with his aggressive approach in solving my problem and I liked how he did not make false promises and kept me informed all the way through my case. Thank You!
