I hired Devina to help me clear an old issue and ultimately get my record expunged. Devina was really upbeat, responsive, and made me feel relaxed through an otherwise daunting process. My initial court date cleared the open case. After filing to expunge the rest of my cases, I was told to "come back in two years" before the court would grant expungement. Devina made herself available for any questions I had during the two years I waited to reappear before the court and provided me answers even when it meant doing some leg work on her end. Last month my expungement for the remainder of my cases was granted. Yay! Overall, Devina was a pleasure to work with. It is clear she is in this profession because she cares about people.

Stay away. Devina tries to play God. And she has no empathy or compassion. Solely wants your money.

Devina is a cut above, an attorney with a heart! She navigates the court room with grace, ease and beauty and was the absolute best choice to handle our situation. My 18 year old son had a bad night and made a stupid mistake that ended up in a misdemeanor criminal charge. After trying to figure out how to navigate the court system on my own, I decided it would be best to hire a lawyer. We hired Devina through a referral service and it was the best decision ever. After a couple of initial phone calls, she handled everything. My son was in a program out of the area. Bottom line she was able to get the case dropped and removed from his record which was our ultimate goal. If you can do it, I highly recommend getting an attorney, who is knowledgeable about the system, to handle your case, even if it's a minor one. It saved us many sleepless nights. Devină Douglas took a mundane case that was stuck in the court for months because of ethnic reasons and was finally able to get a judgement to dismiss the case. She is an excellent lawyer and a fine person. Most important, I trusted her withy case and felt no anxiety once she was on board. I would ld recommend here to anyone.

Devina was super easy to deal with. She always answered my calls or returned my call fast. She had answers. She was able to explain everything in a good way. I don’t like when I feel like I a just a paycheck to someone but Devina wasn’t like that. But the best reason I’m writing this review is she got me a good deal. I am not a saint but she still kept me out of jail.

I went to consult with Ms. Devina Douglas for a very stressful and scary situation I was unfortunately apart of. During the consultation Ms. Douglas was very upfront and blunt with me, however she delivered her knowledge in a positive and professional mannerism that kept me surprisingly at ease. She presented herself as having a "positive outcome probability, but preparing for anything" approach to her profession. When handleing my case she was prompt to answer questions and give guidance as needed. At the courthouse, due to her knowledge and determination, I didn't even have the chance to enter the courtroom before she had everything dismissed and exonerated. I would highly recommend Ms. Douglas to anyone seeking legal assistance.

Devina is who you want by your side if you ever get into trouble with the law. She is very personable and will keep you informed on how your case is going. She will make sure you get the best possible outcome.

Had two criminal cases of 2nd DUI and a domestic violence case I was on pretrial release in Sonoma County with an ankle monitor she got me out of that ankle monitor within two days and got work release no jail time!!!!!! And dropped my domestic violence case to disturbing the peace and a fine! this woman is a force to be reckon with and I recommend her like no other and she always has a beautiful smile Blessings Davina!!

Davina is the epitome of what someone needs when enduring what is probably their darkest hour and/or lowest, scariest point. I felt like I was drowning in a sea of despair, uncertainty, and emotionally erratic circumstances when Davina broke through the fog and triumphantly threw me the life jacket I needed to return to sanity and realize that things will be OK. If you are in the unfortunate position of needing legal representation, your hope should be that it’s by someone as competent, responsive, empathetic, caring and tenacious as Davina Douglas. I spoke with several attorneys before getting lucky enough to consult with and then retain Davina who, to my surprise, had actually done some research and general fact gathering before I even met in person so that at our first meeting, before a dollar was spent by me, Davina was able to provide me with insight and expertise about my situation that immediately helped me understand I was in the absolute best hands available. Having someone relate on a personal level and trusting that my legal counsel sincerely sees me as more than a case number is honestly more than I was hoping for. I have hired Devina as my attorney and I believe she is very incompetent. She treated me as if she were a public defender and rushed through my case. She was not compassionate or knowledgeable. I do not recommend her.
