Evan was extremely accessible and thorough when it came to my representation. As a person who has used alternative representation in the past, I came into this situation extremely skeptical to say the least. Evan put any doubts that I had to rest. He is a capable attorney who gave my case the attention it needed. He also made sure to keep me well informed with case updates every step of the way. Evan was also very good about taking the time to explain things to me that I needed clarification on. I really felt like he had my best interest at heart and helped minimize the damage of my indiscretion.

Excellent attorney, helped me with my dui and worked very thoroughly and worked out an amazing deal for my case,and was able to expunge it off my record and terminate my probation early. I have no complaints and would recommend him to anyone who needs help after being arrested.

May, 2015. The state of california needs to stop including this law office on their attorney's list, as the staff there have NEVER returned my phone calls for assistance, despite two intakes and numerous calls. The staff of at least 8 doesn't even answer their phones, not even the operator nor the receptionist. A pathetic example of an attorney's office which is unresponsive to the needs of at least this former worker in need of assistance on a worker's comp case.

In my opinion a defense attorney’s primary mission is to get the most favorable outcome possible for their client. Orchid Vaghti lives and breathes that mission! My son got a DUI and was not allowed a public defender because he makes more than $2000 a month. Orchid came highly recommended from several sources within the legal community. We were told that DUI’s were her specialty and she is really good at what she does. We were able to borrow the money to pay her extremely reasonable flat fee. My son’s case was complicated because he had an “unresolved” issue in another city from over 5 years ago. From our first meeting with Orchid I was extremely impressed with her knowledge, tenacity, and professionalism. Orchid was able to sort out the legal mess my son was in and build a defense to result in the best possible outcome for my son. Her actions were successful! She was able to get my son sentenced on the same day in two different courts ensuring that he receive the same conviction on each count enabling him to plead to the same level of DUI in each court. What impresses me most about Orchid is she treats her client like a valued person. She explains everything thoroughly and in detail from the very first meeting. She completely takes charge of every aspect of the case including all dealings with the DMV and complying with all sentencing requirements. She was also willing to hand hold a very nervous Mom through the whole process. Orchid Vaghti goes absolutely above and beyond for her client. It is very difficult to put into words how highly I respect her! Sometimes good people get in trouble. If that happens to you I strongly urge you to call Orchid Vaghti immediately. You will never regret it!

Orchid is knowledgeable and kind. She always kept me informed on what was going on and I never to had to wait long to find out information. She never judged me, and always made me feel welcome. I never felt like she tried to pull the wool over my eyes, always straight forward. She is knows what she is doing, no question about it. I would recommend her time and time again, you can't go wring with Orchid!

I was arrested for a first time DUI. I called the law office on Sunday and Orchid got back to me that day. We set up an appointment for the next week. She explained what was involved in terms that I could clearly understand. She did not make any promises as to the outcome but I knew she would do an excellent job of defending me. She is totally knowledgeable in that area and explained each step as we went along. She always returned my telephone calls even when I was asking the most mundane, and probably silly questions. The process was not easy, but having someone like Orchid in my corner made it as palatable as it could possibly be. I highly recommend Orchid. Her knowledge, attention to detail, responsiveness, and compassion was far beyond what I expected.

Orchid did a great job with my case. She was efficient, helpful, and patient ! Long story short : I had a DUI 5 years ago and my lawyer at that time did not do a good job and he didn't close the case properly... And last year, after a police control, the court asked me to come back and explain my situation. I am not American and I was in California for a few years only so I wasn't aware of the details of some procedures. Orchid found out what was wrong, went to the court and everything has been close properly. Not even a fine ! She even explained to me what to do so I can be clean and safe with the DMV, with the court and with the police. I warmly recommend Orchid. She is also a nice and smiling person. It helps too :)

Orchid Vaghti is an amazing attorney. I came to her three years ago after I had received a DUI. This was the first time that I had broken the law and I was scared and uneducated about the criminal justice system. Orchid was very compassionate and answered all my questions. She walked me through the whole process. She was available to talk to me everytime that I called her. I was very satisified with the outcome of my case. She has been there for me ever since, anytime I have had a question. I would definately recommend Orchid to anyone in need of a defense attorney. She is very talented at what she does but more importantly she is a great person who truly cares about her client's best interest.

I have had the misfortune of being on the wrong side of the law in Sonoma County twice now and both times Orchid has significantly helped me. I was first arrested for Drunk in Public and Obstruction of Justice and Orchid was able to have the latter charge dropped and significantly reduced the sentencing for the Drunk in Public to no probation and one month of 15 minute meetings once a week with a counselor, at the end of which the DIP was completely expunged from my record. My second arrest was for Drunk in Public and Tampering with a vehicle, which is a relatively significant charge. The DA wanted to strip me of my 4th Amendment rights, meaning police could search my person, my car, my house, etc. at anytime without warning, or warrant, for a three year probation period. Again, Orchid was able to have the latter charge dropped and again, significantly reduced my sentencing for the DIP (one year unsupervised informal probation with all rights intact), which within a month will be expunged from my record. Orchid was able to make me feel at ease during a rough patch in my life and was professional and effective in both of my cases. I would definitely recommend her skill and ability as a lawyer to anyone who needs help.
