No one in California knows Marijuana law like Steve. I have five friends who have also used him for Marijuana or DUI and every one of them was super impressed. I could not recommend him more.

I enlisted the help of Steve Spiegelman to obtain an early probation termination and complete expungement for my boyfriend Dave. While the outcome of any case is up to the discretion of the Judge and the interpretation of the law, Steve was upfront, accessible and professional. He was honest with his opinion that my case would be difficult at best and I appreciated his straightforward attitude. His consultation was easy to arrange and I never felt as if I was being pressured into signing a contract. In my case, handled in the fall of 2009, Steve Spiegelman was successful in obtaining both the expungement and early probation. Recently, (Jan. 2011) I again hired Steve to help with a HME eligibility. He clearly explained the process and possible outcomes. Because of the tireless work of this attorney, and his staff, Dave was not only able to have a clean record, allowing him acess to employment opportunities otherwise unavailable to him, he was also able to receive and hold his HME with full privileges along with his Class A. I highly recommend Steve Spiegelman. His professional attitude and obvious experience only serve to put clients as ease during difficult times.

Anyone is STUPID to walk in to the court room with out a lawyer, and anyone is STUPID to walk in to a court room with just any phone book lawyer! Mr. Spiegelman was very helpful in handling my case(s). His experience with the court structure and local politics really shows in action....worth every cent... I also find him to be a honest man, and a "stand up" guy. If you're honest with him he will level with you. Something I didn't find with other lawyers. It seems most lawyers will tell you anything...take your money, promise you the stars, then tell you "sorry i did all i could" Steve doesn't do that. He rolls with the punches, and lets you know what's happening as it unfolds. And given my situation his service has actually saved me money! Thanks Steve!!

My son was pulled over on the freeway for a minor traffic violation. The officers performed a search of the vehicle with no apparent cause to justify the search. An unopened container of prescription drugs were in the car. My son was arrested on a charge of possession with intent to sell. A traffic citation was not issued. What resulted was a 2 year journey through the Sonoma County Court system. Mr. Spiegelman throughout the process was professional in his handling of the matter. After eleven appearances, the district attorney's case was found to be essentially without merit. Mr. Spiegelman's patience and professional handling of the matter kept my son out of jail. Our family is grateful to Mr. Spiegelman for his efforts on our behalf.

I was arrested in connection with a legal grow. I was recommended by a friend of a friend and from the first phone call I was at ease. Steve reminded me of my rights and we both moved through the process like he was on the hook with me. I guess it really felt like family was helping. i was very happy with this attorney he went in and fought a tough fight , won and then a year later had to go back and fight the appeal . he did and won it too i was so greatful that he was there and stayed with it a year later .

did not return phone calls .did not show up for secheduled meetings. postponed all scheduled court dates. we retained another attorney and and was told a refund would follow as of this date no refund and as usual no phone call
