Nobody wants to end up with a lemon, but unfortunately, it happened to me this year after buying a brand-new car. My car was in the shop more than it was in my driveway! After some frustrated late-night Googling, I found Nick and CA Lemon Lawyers and decided it was time to stop the madness. Nick was very clear and communicative with me, and I appreciated his honesty throughout the process. I was prepared for anything because I know the process can take a lot of time in some cases, but from my first outreach to Nick to signed dealer buy-back it took a little less than 3 months for me to finally kiss this issue goodbye! Jennifer W. was very helpful when I called 11/27. I needed to ask for a reduction in my payment due to financial set back. She was not able to complete my request due to my account being in a legal matter. But she was able to request for a delay of payment to another date. Everyone was a caring and thoughtful throughout the process. It’s difficult to find yourself in pain and without a vehicle and have to deal with bureaucracies. Century Law’s staff helped me locate doctors that were near me and could help me rehabilitate, while dealing with a difficult opponent. I had a very bad experience w/Gurovich & Berg law partners. They basically stole my money (deposit) that they requested to represent me for a ludicrous situation that they knew would play itself out. It was right before Covid started this whole bogus complaint was filed by my schizophrenic uncle. He accused me of stealing his money, and Berg represented me. He was mostly late in showing up in court, he never provided a summary to the attorney representing the DA’s office, failing to spell out the circumstances & that my schizophrenic uncle convinced some unprofessional sheriff’s deputy that I had stolen money from him. Had Berg made it known that my uncle was an old man who accused everyone of stealing his money, and that he was mentally ill, the case most likely would’ve been dismissed immediately. He failed to prove himself capable of talking to this hot shot female attorney, month after month, doing nothing to exonerate me of any wrongdoing. It wasn’t until my uncle & his caregiver, myself & my family were altogether in court, when the caregiver informed the court’s attorney my uncle was “a schizophrenic who had a history of unstable behavior who had good days & bad, and that his family was very supportive of him.” She was astonished to learn this info & then realized it was a waste of her time. Right after that meeting, the court dismissed my case due to Covid. That was after 5/6 months of frustrating, unwarranted, nerve wracking, monthly court appearances. I never received a bill showing any accounting of Berg’s billable hours, I begged him for it, nothing. He just went awol, never saying anything about refunding my deposit, which they both agreed they’d do if they didn’t utilize or justify my $9500 deposit! He never wrote a summary for the attorney/court, he was never prepared, I provided every copy that was requested from the court, he was late many times because he double booked himself having to appear at another court nearby, or in another court room in the same building, at least 2-3 times, making him late, and me having to try & find him because the attorney was annoyed that she had to wait for him to show up….Overall, it was the worst experience of my life. They knew what they were doing. They knew the case would be dismissed for lack of evidence or truth of the allegations to begin with. They didn’t respond to text messages efficiently, Berg never called me before any court date, he never had anything to say or contribute to alleviate my stress. They stole the money they demanded to retain the case, they said they’d refund any money that wasn’t justified or billed hours. So they took $9500 for driving to Airport court 5-6 times, to stand before a judge & for me to say,”Not guilty.” I should have used a public defender, I could’ve saved myself a lot of anguish & anxiety, plus the money they never had the decency, nor professionalism to provide me with an accounting & justification of hours Berg actually worked. I’d avoid this dynamic duo of rip off artists, they come off very nice & that they’re going to do everything they can to represent you, but nothing could’ve been further from the truth, which they do not speak at all.

Look no further! Nick and his team are simply the best. From day one his communication and knowledge is what you want in an attorney! He made us feel like we are part of a family and walked us thru beginning to end. Our process was smooth and it took us about 3 months for Ford to buy the car back. I highly recommend Nick and his team!
