Me and my husband were in the court and didn't have a lawyer because we didn't think we needed one. My husband saw Melanie with other client and told me if we need a lawyer we can have Melanie because she were the lawyer of some friends my husband knew. Melanie is amazing. I knew her from a friend's case, which she handled REALLY well. Anyway, early this January, I got pulled over. They tried charging me with a DUI, drug possession, and driving with a suspended license (I didn't know that it was suspended at the time). Melanie was the only person that I trusted with my case. I've never gotten in trouble with the law before, and I was incredibly nervous about the entire situation. Melanie made me feel so at ease during the entire ordeal. PLUS, she was able to dismiss all the charges. I got a traffic violation instead. AMAZING! Also, on the night I got pulled over, I refused a blood test, which should've been an automatic 1 year suspension from driving. Melanie argued during the dmv hearing, that the police officer did not offer the choice between a breathalyzer and a blood test and showed that his documentation wasn't very accurate. Melanie came highly referred from a friend who she had helped in the past. I had seen a few different attorneys for consultations before I had the pleasure of meeting her. I've had 4 lawyers before I met Melanie and they were all liars. The worst one was soo bad that he made me take a deal on a case which I was innocent in. I had lost all faith and confidence in lawyers in general until I met Melanie. She is by far the best lawyer I've ever hired and will ever hire. I had a criminal issue I needed defended and defended with rigor, Ms. Baghdaian was recommended to us and we went to see her immediately. She put up a tremendous defense and we won on a technicality. I know if we went through the defense all the way we still would have won; but Melanie is the kind of attorney who will not let an opportunity pass her by. The prosecutor made a procedural error and Melanie drove the proverbial truck right through it. Our case was resolved better than what we expected.
