I had been working indirectly with Rodney Gould for more than two years and then, directly for about 15 months. As a Successor Trustee, Rodney helped me to navigate settlement of the sale of a home and a family trust. He did so with integrity, professionalism, and compassion in a very difficult situation, (families are complicated). Rodney was responsive beyond belief, responding to emails and phone calls, often within minutes! Since I live out of state, and all matters in need of resolve were in California, it was critical for me to be able to rely on Rodney's expertise in California law. First thing; I want to clarify that I did NOT provide a five star review based solely on the fact that we won case. Rather, I took notice of the personal attention and professionalism that Rodney and his team provided. When I sent a text message I received a response same day and usually within a couple of hours or less. When I asked questions I received an answer. I think it’s just as important to be informed by my attorney as it is to prevail in the courtroom! Rodney and his staff understand expect the ignorance of their clients. Keeping me abreast of the status of my case put me at ease. Regarding the cost; that’s a tough one to review. It’s all about perspective. It is a lot of money, but I should note that regarding my (DMV) case I was actually money ahead once we won. Furthermore, after the case was over, there was some hiccups with the DMV- no surprise! His staff took their time to deal with the issues and ironed everything out which in all fairness was out of their scope of what we agreed to do. They went above and beyond! If you want to hire an attorney who’s trustworthy, professional, personable… this is the place! If you want to hire an attorney who knows the ins and outs of hCA DMV (yeah we all know how they are) then for your own sake, hire Rodney Gould!
