I worked with Jason Parker Johnson for my EB-1 application. He could not be more clear, transparent, and reassuring. I had been rejected by a couple of law offices before but he took my application through all the steps he had told me to expect and helped me get my approval. After having the worst experience with this guy years ago, his office had the audacity to send me a feedback email this week. I was about to let it go since it has been years, but here it goes: Shawn is very accomodating and acts very promising in the beginning, but once you pay his fee, it all falls apart. In my case, he forgot to file HALF of my documents, basically throwing away the last 4 years of work history in the trash. This could have been avoided if I would have been allowed to review the filing application in advance, but that was ‘against company policy’, he said. Not surprisingly I was denied by immigration for the gap of years in the documentation. I was also stupid enough to let Shawn talk me into filing an appeal. He then refused to even open the 300 pages of extra info I sent to him. Of course the whole application was denied again. Luckily it was later approved with another lawyer that DID use all of the docs and did the proper work. Shawn promises you the world, takes your money and then does a subpar job in handling your application. Afterwards I felt like I dealt with a used car salesman that screwed me over. This one cost me over $8,000. I should have trusted the bad reviews.
