This attorney represented me in oc years ago... she completely botch my divorce case. The fact that the majority reviews on here are "anonymous" shows that it's probably just her making these good revires for herself. She did no work and completely up charged me. She had such a bad reputation in southern California that she moved her practice to norcal. BE AWARE. I do not want any others to fall victim of her incompetence and money hungry nature!! Please do your research on her

I read the reviews before I retained Ms. Brenner even the bad ones. I found the bad one odd because I knew the facts didn't make sense because the courts were closed when this person stated Ms. Brenner represented them in court. I am writing this review because I know that review is false and because I never had a better attorney who even lowered her fee because of my financial problems.

Brenner actually got lost on the way to the courthouse (!), was late and therefore had no time to prepare. She didn't remember the basic facts of our case. Judge asked her a crucial question and she was completely silent, no reply, just stared blankly like a deer in headlights. This lost our case for us which should have been easily won. I do not recommend this "attorney".

Cherie has years of experience and it shows. If you need someone to represent you to the DA and in Court, to support and advice you, and to negotiate the best outcome, while treating you like a human being, and with sensitivity and expert skill, make Cherie your choice! I did and am SO pleased I believed the five star review I'd seen which made me to hire her.

Ms. Cherie Brenner- Outstanding, professional, to the point... Cherrie will tell you blunt without hesitation about the system, about cases and can perhaps foresee the outcome- I was incredibly persistent in communication, I was anxious, I was incredibly overzealous & nervous about my case- difficult to say the least - Every time she spoke-the language of Law just flew over my head- but then she explained where I could understand- and put me at ease- Believe me- I am not an easy person to connect with-Cherie Brenner made it easy for me to understand- Incredibly professional- knows the legal system from front to back in my observation- Mr. Brenner- Thank You

Having Cherie represent me for child custody and divorce issues has been the best decision I ever made. She has integrity, is dependable, extremely competent and worked hard to get results. I appreciate the fact that she was very accessible to me during this trying time in my life. She truly cares about her client's best interest and it made a difference in my case. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a reputable family law expert.

I was her client. She represented herself as a family law expert when in fact she is a criminal law attorney with limited knowledge in family law. She failed to keep me abreast of her charges and blindided me with a huge bill. She lost part of my file and has yet to find and rerun it. I do not recommend this attorney if you are looking for a family law attorney.

Cherie Brenner came highly recommended and she has certainly lived up to her reputation as an outstanding lawyer. She has a unique blend of being compassionate yet tough and her no nonsense approach to reaching a settlement certainly saved me a lot of time and money. It is rare to find a lawyer who is more interested in supporting her client than lining her pockets with high legal fees. Cherie is an excellent negotiator and her background in criminal law allowed her to quickly identify the deceptive tactics that my husband and his lawyer were trying to use. Cherie always maintained her high degree of professionalism and integrity and she never stooped to the silly, underhanded tactics of opposing council. I could not have made it through the divorce process without her guidance and support. She is a tremendous lawyer and I consider myself fortunate to have had her as my council. J

Eager to listen to her clients' problems & suggestions before presenting her side with a reason. Recalls past & present events of a case with every detail synchronized for each season. Inside of an unassuming lady, never underestimate her wisdom as my legal attorney. Eternally grateful to what she has accomplished for my daughters & I in our life's journey.

Cherie is the best Attorney! From my first time meeting with her, she has always been honest, straight forward and had always gone above & beyond.
