I have been represented by Tamran for a few years now in an extremely complex and protracted family law matter. I am very grateful for her strong representation and continued vigilance in my case. Having previously worked in civil litigation law, I was extremely pleased to see that she was very knowledgeable in family law as it was completely foreign to me. It was humbling as it became evident that I really needed her help and she was there for me. I would highly recommend her to anybody that needs help and expertise in family law.

This review is in response to Sadie Flores's review for Amaral Law. I've been a client of Amaral law for about 5 years. Miss Amaral has helped me with numerous issues regarding my divorce. She is very blunt but honest with her clients. When I met with her for a consult, she told me things I didn't want to hear, but her compassion and knowledge made me realize she is someone I wanted on my side. She is a very detail oriented Attorney. She knows things about my case that I don't even remember. I'm sorry you felt you had a bad experience, but I think if you took the time to listen to her, you would have realized she was actually trying to help you. As clients I think we want to be vindicated by being able to tell "our side", but I think it's the Attorneys job to tell us what they can and can't do for us. Sometimes it stings a little but at the end of the day, I think they are just telling us what we NEED to hear not what we WANT to hear. Miss Amaral is an EXCELLENT Attorney. People have approached her in the court house after our hearing and asked for her business card because they could see how good she was. It's a shame you won't experience that. But, in her defense, how can she be expected to take you on as a client if you won't listen to her during a consult? It appears that after reading the 15 reviews you've posted, that you have a pattern of negativity. One of the reviews was about another Attorney. I hope you can find someone you can work with. Tamran was wonderful and very upfront with what to expect.

My experience came with Doug Gessell when I had to get a personal injury lawyer for a dog bite I received when attacked while walking my dog. I had no previous knowledge of how this process would work and what I would be expecting when hiring a lawyer for this situation. He was very clear and transparent from the start and made sure that he explained everything in a manner which I understood what we were planning before going forward. He kept in contact through every transition & always updated me on any changes on the case & I never felt as if I was out of the loop just waiting for a response. At the end of the case I felt that I was completely covered on all the fees I accumulated while dealing with my injury. The work he provided made me confident that my case would be handled appropriately and I never felt as if I may need to go else where. Strong recommendation if you are in need of legal representation.

My wife and I hired Tamran Amaral to help with gaining custody of three of our grandchildren whose lives were threatened by parental discord and mental illness. Tamran did an incredible job with the court and legal system and helped us gain legal custody of these kids who are doing well today. We highly recommend Tamran as exceptionally qualified and compassionate.

Thanks to Tamrin at Amaral Law I am now Divorced, I was going through a very tough time with my X-Wife using a Attorney to go after me. I thought I could handle myself through the legal system thinking she would be honest and fair and act normally.
