Gil Somera is a first class attorney!!! He was personable and truly cared about me and my case. Not only did he successfully resolve my case before I went to trial, but he got the DA to dismiss my charges completely. While doing my research and trying to find a lawyer, Gil stood out from the rest. He gives back to his community, donates his time and financially supports many outstanding organizations in Stockton. That was the tipping point for me. I figured a man like that would be highly respected by his colleagues and the district attorneys office.. I was right!!!! The communication I had with his assistants was also great.. my phone calls were returned promptly and all my questions were answered. There was no beating around the bush. Best lawyer period!

Gilbert Somera is an incredible attorney. We started with a horrible public defender that kept telling us my husband was going to go to prison for up to six years (for something he didn’t do) she wouldn’t listen to us. We were referred to him by another attorney that no longer did criminal cases. I called the Somera office right away and a lady by the name of Jessica who was very attentive, professional, sweet, and understanding. She listened to my husband’s whole situation and scheduled me for that afternoon. From the moment I walked into Gilbert’s office, feeling very nervous and uncertain of what my husband could be facing, I felt like there was hope for my husband's situation. He calmed my fears, as my family had never been faced with a legal situation like this before. He was never too busy to answer questions and return phone calls, and handled the whole process for us with the utmost professionalism. They kept us up to date on any changes in the case and always responded quickly to any of our inquiries. I never felt like my husband was just another case for him, I believe he had a sincere interest in obtaining the best possible outcome for my husband. And he did. He is a true miracle worker!
