Eric Chase is the epitome of a monster (for lack of a better word) who defends demons. He is a sell out, who will represent those for the right price. How can he sleep at night?! I had my human rights violated, assaulted, the whole nine yards, and he tried to justify his client’s actions by trying to discredit me. POS. What a sorry excuse for a human being! Shame on you!!!

If it weren't for Eric Chase my brother would have died in prison for something he didn't do. Mr. Chase was very professional and a bulldog in the court room. He knows what he's doing inside and outside of the court room. It was a very emotional trial but Eric was spot on in everything he did including having to put me in my place outside of the court room for verbally defending my my brother against the other sides family members. I would recommend Eric as a defense attorney.

I met Erick while seeking council for my son who had just been accused of a crime at the same time he suffered a major stroke. My son was diagnosed with a rare neurological brain condition and several brain abnormalities. He was incarcerated when the state social security disability awarded his claim and paid him a back pay. I seeked a defence council for my son and met a team of attorney's with at least five attorneys present, Erick being one of them. Erick promised to fight for my son's freedom especially because of his medical conditions. I paid the team I thought, only to find out later, it would be Erick. I was unable to reach Erick until I found out he moved to another location, left the team, and that I should try threatening a complaint with the state bar towards him in an effort to reach him..it worked. I finally got to communicate with him. He performed absolutely no type of defense for my son. He forced my son to sign a plea bargain of guilt that had nothing in favor of my son. In fact, it took away any and all chances he had to protect himself and his future. Erick forced my son by saying if you don't sign the plea say Good bye forever..! Erick nor the court allowed due process regarding his medical conditions, nothing. Several year's later while my son sits in prison the court of appeals deny an appeal because "Erick" claimed his client understood everything. There was an illegal, search, seize, and arrest Erick included in the plea that my son would not be able to challenge. Erick included in the plea that double jeopardy would not be honored in my son's behalf and my son has a long list of Amendment Human American Right's that were lifted against him by Erick Chase in this plea bargain. My son "Cleary" did not understand what he was signing. During the hearing, He tried telling the courts he didn't understand. The courts went off record during this and Erick told my son to just state he understood. I was and still am my son's legal POA but was told by Erick I had no say so on anything regarding my son. Erick is a disgusting terrible human being, let alone a defence attorney! Beware! His only interest is his pocket book.

Mr. Chase kept me abreast in all aspects of the case he represented me on throughout the process. He was responsive, educational, and always treated me with the utmost respect. He knows the law and strategies according to each and every case. Practicing law is dynamic as there is no cookie cutter approach as each case has its own nuances and challenges. I was very pleased with how my case ended up based on all factors, and would recommend Mr. Chase as a Criminal Defense Lawyer.

I retained Eric's firm in August of 2007 from Wisconsin for a felony charge of Hit-and-Run. I was assigned a lawyer in the state that didn't handle criminal defense and had problems from the beginning. I was able to talk to Eric but felt as all he was after was a plea. Which the best deal that Eric worked out was a 7 year cap. Which means no more than 7 years in prison could be given to me. I was upset to say the least so I reached out to other counsel and dropped Eric's firm. At that time I reached out to Eric to receive back some of my 30k retainer when my currents lawyers explained that I should be able to subtracting the amount of work that Eric's firm had done already. I was never responded to and never received any money back. That was a lesson learned. Just to let you know the outcome of my case, I received probation. Much less than 7 years in prison. I just recommend to consider carefully when looking for a lawyer. Especially if its your first time of being charged and don't know where to look.

I was accused with some pretty ugly porn related charges before Federal court. I had several different attorneys try to deal with my case. The first attorney was on the right track but she got sick and had to drop most of her case load including mine. The Federal defender took my case and told me to lay down and "take the deal" which included 36 months in prison and register as a sex offender. Since I wasn't feeling guilty of the charges against me I hired United Defense Group and Eric took my case. With the help of others Eric discovered that the investigator essentially lied by omission when applying for the search warrant for my home. Eric passionately plead my case in front of the Federal Judge and got the search warrant thrown out. Only the "Leon - good faith" exemption kept my case alive at all. This caused the federal prosecutors to see reality in my case. They offered me a much lessor charge to plead to, which while I was guilty of, so are most other people who have looked at porn over the internet. The Feds only prosecute it when they don't have anything else to get you for since it they did a good portion of the population of the country would be passing through the Federal Court system. While this may sound like I "got off" on a technicality, the truth is that the Feds only had a couple of files to show I was guilty of anything and not the mountain of evidence that they were insinuating to the court. While I was not able to avoid a conviction, I was able to stay out of prison and do 6 months of home detention along with 3 years of probation instead of 36 months in prison and registering as a sex offender which I am definitely not. I owe it all to Eric Chase and his team of tigers who took my case and got me the solution I and my family needed. I have no plans to be in this position again but if I were, I would hire Eric again without delay.

I hired Mr. Chase just over two years ago when I became aware I was the target of a federal investigation. It goes without saying but obviously this was a time of great distress for my family and I. While nothing will completely subside the anguish that comes from criminal prosecution, having Eric in my corner did put my mind at ease. He was there for me every step of the way and I believe that if not for him I would have been facing a much stiffer penalty than I received. Avoiding jail time really was not an option for my offense but Eric put me in a position to reduce my time significantly. The U.S. attorney was originally not receptive to working out a deal but Eric pushed for me and eventually I ended up being able to tell my side of the story. While I was guilty of a crime this did eliminate a few charges that I was not guilty of and if not for Mr. Chase's persistence, those charges would have stuck. Even at my sentencing, Eric had to pull out all the stops. Despite having a plea agreement in place, the judge seemed hellbent on using a faulty probation report as his guideline. This would essentially double my sentence and then some. It was looking grim and I was sweating bullets. Then Eric really went to work for me. Honestly, it was the first time I witnessed his work first hand and I was impressed and thankful. It wasn't easy but I ended up being sentenced in line with the plea agreement. It looked like I would get five years but in the end, I only got two. And who knows how many it would have been without Mr. Chase. Overall, I couldn't really ask for much more. He always took my calls, he was always upfront and honest with me and he never made me feel like just another dollar sign. My family and I will forever be appreciative of his efforts and I can't thank him enough. Hopefully I will never need him again but if I do, he will certainly be my first call.
