Well, we actually had to find another lawyer in the end, so...

I cannot put into words how strongly I recommend Shannon Stein and her practice. I came to her with a complex custody case, involving an international relocation of children who were living mostly with the other parent, who was beset with serious issues of her own, due to an informal understanding about the relocation that had broken down. I had never had an attorney in the case, and there was no reason to expect an easy path. Shannon quickly took charge, and together with her wonderful colleague, Malavika, and kind and sensitive office staff, steered the case in the right direction. At no time did Shannon play “dirty,” which the opposing counsel certainly seemed to do; there were no insults, no yelling or provocations. There was also no wasting of time and funds on unnecessary litigation; in fact, Shannon’s clear mission was to seek an amicable resolution, with an eye towards coparenting in the future, i.e., staying out of court. 10 months later, we had a court order moving the children to my (their father’s) residence abroad. I cannot thank Shannon and her office enough.
