Mr. Chang was very helpful and understanding when assisting us. My mother passed away unexpectedly and he helped us resolve her real estate legal matters. He is very knowledgeable and his assistance was comforting during this difficult time. I highly recommend him to anyone needing his assistance.

Mr. Chang is an outstanding attorney. He helped us set up our family trust and he did an excellent job. He explained to us in detail and answered all of our questions. When we had changes to the assets within the family trust, he help us to update the trust without charging us anything. I would highly recommend him.

John assisted my wife and I with setting up a living trust, and the experience was so great we did the same for my wife’s parents. John is thoughtful, smart, considerate, and extremely responsive. John Chang drew up my parents family trust years ago and represented us (the beneficiaries) when it was time to settle the estate. Working with John was a breeze. We initially reached out to the firm over the phone regarding some questionable advice we received from another firm. Immediately, John made it feel like we were his client and provided us with the answers we needed during the free consultation. We didn't have to return to Patinelli and Chang since we had our answers, but the fact that John took the time to explain to make sure we understood everything regarding our questions (reiterating--for free), made it a no-brainer for us to switch to John. When we met John in person, we didn't feel like just another client of John's since, again, he didn't rushed us through the meetings. Our original living trust was written many years ago and was done in another state. We needed to make some changes to our living trust. We contacted John for a consultation, which was free. We scheduled a meeting with John. He explained what needed to be done. We asked him to proceed with updating our living trust, which took about a week. Then, signed our updated living trust. The process was not as difficult as I anticipated. Even after we had signed the updated living trust, John continues to answer any questions we have. He is very knowledgeable and has provided valuable advice to us. I would highly recommend John. Update 6/6/24: I contacted John to get advice regarding inheritance and gifting. He quickly answered my questions on inheritance and the gifting options based on the inheritance. It's been a few years since John updated our living trust. John continues to answer questions we have and valuable advice to us. I would highly recommend John.

My parents needed to make some changes to their wills, family trust etc. I met with John for a consultation, which by the way, was free.
