John Chang was absolutely an excellent lawyer to work with to protect my family from the time, money and hassle of probate court. He was: 1) Very knowledgeable about trusts, wills, California advance health care directives, and probate courts from the perspectives of both the court of law and taxes/IRS codes 2) Highly responsive in how quickly he responded to phone calls and emails and added my family’s appointments to his schedule 3) Extremely respectful and client-service focused, going above and beyond in creating the draft documents requested over a weekend, taking the time to answer any and all questions my family had before, during and after development of the documents, visiting with us for an appointment late in the evening on a Friday after my family had to push back our meeting time 1.5 hours prior to our scheduled appointment due to unforeseen circumstances. John’s fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese was also a big plus. He was able to speak and understand Chinese and provided articles written in Chinese allowing for much greater understanding of trusts / wills / probate documents and processes for native Chinese speakers.
