I was involved in an accident on the freeway when a car was sideswiped by a semi truck and spun out in front of my motorcycle. I sustained serious injuries, some permanent, and others that have taken years to heal. My case was very complicated because there were multiple parties involved and made worse by the trucking company denying all responsibility. I was very fortunate to have Gerry Agnew represent me. While riding my bike around Palos Verdes in November 2016, I was hit from behind in the bike lane by a 21-year-old distracted driver. I was lifted into the air and my head and body literally destroyed his roof and windshield. I was in a coma for three days, having broken many ribs, neck, back, and leg bones which required a month in the hospital’s Intensive Care and Rehabilitation units. My three traumatic brain injuries caused double vision that could only be corrected by very complicated eye surgery.
