David offered very useful advice related to dealing with my employer post-termination. I was able to take specific actions as a result that put me in a better position to secure employment going forward.

David is a highly competent, honorable, and thoughtful employment attorney. I retained David's services when a former employer attempted to avoid their end of a separation agreement. David was able to compel the company to honor its obligations under the agreement and also fulfill additional considerations that had fallen by the wayside during initial negotiations. He accomplished everything without incurring court fees or going beyond our pre-determined hourly allocation, the cost of which was very reasonable and fair. I greatly appreciate David's use of technology for managing document sharing, review, and deliberation as it is simpler and more secure than email. I also deeply admire David's commitment to representing employees with smaller claims, the "little guy", when there are so many attorneys that are willing to do so only when there is a large settlement (and thus large fees) to be obtained. I am often skeptical of businesses and individuals that receive 5-star reviews across the board, however I have read every one of David's Yelp reviews (all 5-star as of this writing) and they all ring true based on my experience. David helped my employer and I reach an amicable agreement on appropriate severance after my separation. David used his extensive knowledge of employment law, especially as it applies to California to help all parties understand the nature of a fair consensus. Though I have been involved in a few of litigations in my lifetime (that's more than enough!) , Mr Mallen has demonstrated to me that he is the only lawyer that has made me feel that he truly had my best interest throughout the litigation.
