My family member got arrested in LA and I was starving for advice and a good direction to help him. I had a small amount of medical cannabis and was arrested for DUI under marijuana influence. I hired the Chesley Law Firm and could not have been happier with the outcome. The police officer exaggerated his observations and made up some false claims as to my bloodshot appearance and the smell of smoke, etc. David never beat around the bush and told everybody straight up the honest truth, and that's what I really love about working with him. He brought a copy of my prescription and had my doctor and him sit down for a meeting with the D.A. about my condition. i was accused and charged before i knew it the police officer was very rude and i was truly scared not knowing how to approach this situation i contacted a lawyer the first one gave me some options and did not seem promising at all after talking to some people i ended up talking to this law firm and i was much more reassured, finally someone who would come trough for me and they did! We hired Mr. Matsunuga to qualify my mother-in-law for Medi-Cal. Our situation was unique and we knew nothing about the application process. Mr. Matsunuga explained exactly what had to be done and his office wrote some contracts and submitted the application on our behalf. He is very knowledgable about Medi-Cal and estate planning. The only negative was that he did seem to take advantage of the situation when it came to pricing his services. It was an emergency situation and we paid $10k up front to retain him. He did mobilize his office to get the work done on time, but I found out later that other attorneys charge less for the same service. It all worked out the way he said it would. His office responded to our calls and we were satisfied with the overall results. We would use his services again.
