Divorce is never easy. Even in "amicable" cases, it can turn dirty. I wanted to handle the process without attorneys, but when my ex- lawyered up, I needed someone to stand up for me. Phil and his decades of experience made me feel protected and safe. Where some divorce attorneys fuel the fire and fighting between exes to rack up their bills (over years and years), Phil has been through it all - and has learned the wisdom of taking the most smooth road possible. Don't get me wrong, he won't let anyone bully his clients, he defends and fights for what is fair, but he also wants to guide his clients to a quick resolution with the most peace as possible under the circumstances. I retained Philip Daigneault to represent me in my divorce. He took over the case under dire circumstances: my former attorney kept piling up legal bills, negotiated a support stipulation that would have led to my bankruptcy, and let my case stagnate for over 6 months. The former attorney wanted to place a lien on my house for $100,000 to cover litigation expenses. Philip came on board from my restraining order case to temporary spousal support case and he is still with me for the rest. I have to say that he is a truly amazing lawyer. Everytime we went to court I did not expect to win. However he would win. And what else do you want from a good divorce lawyer than winning.
