David Yamamoto and his staff have seen me through two highly emotional custody cases. David is not only very efficient and effective; He is honest, realistic, comforting and kind. His experience shined through as he handled my irrational ex's with grace, skill and professionalism. He is reasonable, reliable and fair and I would highly recommend him and his staff.

I've had a long contentious divorce with an unreasonable ex-spouse. David Yamamoto has handled my case with professionalism, poise and skill.
In one hearing, David was forced to defend me after a family evaluator had recommended that my weekday overnight visitation be discontinued. My situation looked bleak and I was dreading the worst at that point.
David took the evaluator's report and asked the evaluator pointed questions which undercut the report's conclusions. David's questioning forced the evaluator to honestly answer questions which defended my position and good parental record, and which undercut her own conclusions. As a result, the evaluator herself openly agreed in my ability to be a good parent and the judge was able to see through the questionability of the evaluators report and rule in my favor, granting me the weekday overnight visitation that I requested.
David's cool and collected court performance was a masterstroke, very persuasive and impressive. He completely flipped my bleak outlook into a good judge's ruling in my favor, and I am forever grateful.

Going through a separation and custody case is a difficult and stressful process. David was my second attorney, and I wish he had been my first. He is understanding of the stress and the process, and attempts to resolve things efficiently and with an understanding of what is best for all parties involved.
He helps set realistic objectives for the process, is always fair, is always prepared, and doesn’t encourage frivolity that can draw out the case.
Had I had David from the beginning of the process I believe matters would have been settled quicker with less stress.

Promises the world and then doesn't prepare for trial. He doesn't make real arguments. Instead he makes many generalizations that are not solid arguments, when he could have looked through my exhibits and used them to make my case.

She is the kind of attorney that gives a bad name to all attorneys. False allegations, malicious prosecutions, misrepresentations in court, over billing and little games like not sending or delaying papers or sending them to the wrong address.
She may have a lot of designations behind her name and volunteer for some committee's and such, but she is a very weak lawyer. In many instances she sends her "Newbie" inexperienced lawyer associates to court for her. Do you want to represented by someone who is just learning?.
In my case she did not even handle a simple restraining order against a person who was representing themselves. Instead recommended to hire some outside attorney from Wilshire Blvd who failed to get the job done. She recommended filing a personal injury lawsuit with absolutely no merit to put pressure on the other side. Despite being a " personal injury attorney" she again punted the case to another firm, yet she tried to charge my Mom's estate almost $10,000 to "Interview litigators" and Co-ordinate strategy. The case was so weak after thousands in attorney bills the plaintiff asked to dismiss his own case.
When potential litigation of the trust came up, again she punted to another firm but still charges to co-ordinate. Why hire her when she isn't up to the job but charges to Co-ordinate?
If you have trouble in your family, this attorney will only make things worse not better. You may think you are getting revenge on them and she will certainly help stir up the pot. But in the end she will make things much worse and raise the attorney bills for everyone.
Go hire a real attorney.
I have never met a person with lower personal ethics.
