Elaine Andrews does an outstanding work! First we went to a conference where she presented Estate planning, trust and probate law. Her presentation was very well organised and the explanations were really clear. You could tell that she has a lot of experience in the subject. When we met with her after, we were not deceived...she was very knowledgeable, clear in her explanations, organised and was going straight to what needed to be done. It has been a pleasure working with her!

Elaine Andrews did our estate planning and was impressive in all respects. She has a wealth of knowledge and we were particularly impressed with her ability to explain complex concepts (for us) in understandable terms. She patiently walked through the trust with us, every detail, and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend.

Be wary of using Elaine for estate planning. Record all conversations and meetings to be sure specific items are handled as promised. Elaine created two trust for my family. We had a good experience in the initial meeting to put together this critical estate planning device. She stated that there were two different plans for future updates, "if we pay the lower price, then each updated would have a fee, If we pay the higher price, all future updates would be free." Being a physician, I remember almost all my patient conversations like someone with photographic memory. Last year, I had attempted to obtain a permit for some home improvement and had issues with the county department due to the wording on the trust. I called Elaine and was told that everything is correct and it is the county that is reading the papers incorrectly. I sent copies of the transfer deeds to Elaine to review and stated that the order of the names on the documents puts my trustees as the responsible parties for the property, I explained to her that I needed to be the one listed as the person to call or contact for any issues, as long as I am capable of handling my own affairs. Elaine did not explain the nuances of each type of trust at our meetings revoc vs. irrev. I asked Elaine, why my trust was not structured the way I described...in the end she stated that any changed were now done at her current legal rate...I mentioned that my partner and myself recall her stating that all updates would be free...her answer was, " I never said that"...with both of us refuting her response, she answered with $400 for moving each account in and out of the old trust, updating the trust to do what we wanted for $3200, after spending $10,000 for my original trust documents. She had offered also to discuss my issue with me on the phone, I emailed her and she confirmed for the following evening. In this day and age, cell phones are easily accessible to everyone. I even texted her at 7pm to have her wait 30 minutes while I walked the dogs...SHE NEVER CALLED OR COMMUNICATED. She had her assistant email the next day stating she left the office early, totally inadequate excuse. Also, ALL her reviews curiously dated ~12 months ago, that was due to her requests to clients to write 5* reviews to help boost her business due to a disgruntled client. After Elaine read the review, she rebut with unprofessional opinions and assumptions, making unsubstantiated claims of domestic disputes and issues that are immaterial to the problems discussed. No acknowledgement of a clients misunderstanding of her explanations of how revocable and irrevocable trust function nor semblance of remediation. Instead she spews nonsense, it hails back to the days of "Jerry Springer". BTW, Michael did not write the review, we both did.
