I don’t know where to begin! Jude is an absolutely amazing lawyer! I wouldn’t recommend anyone else in the area! He is very efficient, reliable, and not afraid to tell you what’s up! I would have thrown out 9 years of my life but he was an absolute legend and I only did 6 months, which I deserved. None the less, almost 10 years later still helped out very much with getting those charges expunged and turning the page to an old chapter of my life. Absolute legend! Thank you!

When I retained Mr. Koenig to represent me on a criminal matter, I didn’t know what to expect. I had a matter that had snowballed into a seemingly insurmountable challenge to take on. Jude is a great communicator -- clear, professional, punctual, and always available. He was upfront with his fees and followed through on all of his commitments. He removed a hit-and-run charge, reduced the probation time and requirements, and with his fees the total for the DUI was somewhere around 5.5k, whereas you often hear they can be 10-15k. His in-depth knowledge of the some of the more subtle laws ended up being crucial for an out-of-state license. His local experience with the D.A.'s office seemed like it was useful. I don't usually write reviews, but felt I had to in this case -- Jude is excellent.

I hired Jude to represent me for a very serious sexual assault case. I was facing a wrongful rape charge. There was some, but very little evidence against me. Ultimately Jude was able to get the case 100% dismissed. He was able to get all of the police reports, interviews, evidence, etc. and provided all of that information to me throughout the course of the case. He was also able to file a waiver that did not require me to be in court in person as I live out of the area, and always kept me informed via e-mail with what happened that day and when my next court date would be. In my opinion he took a very realistic approach to what the outcome may be, always preparing me for the reality of the matters at hand, never sugar coating anything. The reality was that I was facing a maximum of 8 years in prison and a lifetime sex offender registration. Needless to say these were some very serious consequences. After months, and countless court dates, Jude was able to get this case 100% dismissed! There could not have been a better outcome! To Jude, I would just like to say THANK YOU! I hired Jude on two occasions. The first was a DUI. Jude got the DUI lowered to a wet and reckless. I was very pleased with the results. The second was a driving on a suspended. Jude got it dismissed! I was absolutely pleased with that outcome. During the second case, CHP had sent me a bill in regards to the wet and reckless which had already been closed. I asked Jude if there was anything I could do and he went out of his way to resolve that issue. I haven't heard from them since. Jude comes with a very fair price and outstanding representation. Jude Koenig is a very professional Lawyer, I recently had a DUI case. Since the day I called Jude he was there anytime of the day to take care of my case and questions I had regarding the case. I was encouraged to hire an attorney to handle a potential DUI case so I called Jude based off of reviews. I left a message for him and was called back almost immediately. He asked me some questions about my case, then explained exactly what his process would be, what immediate steps and timelines would look like, and then his contract arrangement. He was very transparent and clear with no hidden costs or surprises. I found him to be very reasonable and worth every penny. Jude was completely accessible, responsive, and he clearly knew what he was doing. He's a fast talker, so it's important to make sure you understand what he's explaining, and do not be afraid to ask him to repeat something. I was well prepared and followed everything he told me to do, so once I got to court I knew exactly what to expect. I could have never navigated such a complex process without him.

I am pleased to wholeheartedly recommend Jude and his legal services. I had never been in trouble with the law before and was extremely nervous about my first offense DUI. Jude took the time to explain the process, and expertly navigated the options including securing the best possible outcome in court. I was clearly guilty so I was found guilty and paid my fines, did traffic school, and MADD courses, and Jude kept me out of jail and kept the penalties as minimal (while significant) as possible. Best of all, over two years later the conviction and probation were causing issues for my business and loans, etc., so Jude went above and beyond to go back to court very quickly on my behalf and secured the relief I needed from the Court. This saved my business and my reputation and I cannot thank Jude enough for going above and beyond to help me. His compensation was more than fair (and a bargain in retrospect) and his service and expertise were top notch.

When I contacted Jude, I was in a bad state of mind. I had been arrested for DUI, the previous night in a town hours away from where I lived. The Court of Jurisdiction was hours away from Jude. Yet from retainer to resolution Jude was timely, realistic and patient. And then he went above and beyond. I failed to comply with the court in a timely manner. The mistake was innocuous but the implications were enormous. Despite being no longer retained, he rose to the occasion and facilitated a quick solution. I am naive to the world of defense attorneys but Jude did his profession proud in this some what run of the mill DUI.

I did something stupid, got caught and was in a lot of trouble. Jude Koenig was able to have the case dismissed before I was even arraigned. He did a great job and I won't have to worry about this being on my record for the rest of my life. Thanks Jude!

In October of 2018, I was stopped and arrested for DUI right at/under the legal limit. The very first thing I did was search for a DUI attorney in the Truckee area, and Jude's name was top of the list. Everyone I spoke to highly recommended his practice. His price was more than fair and away we went with the legal process. Throughout, Jude kept me aptly informed as to what was transpiring with my case and where we stood. After a couple months of, what was for me, easy going, we were able to settle for a wet and reckless charge. This came with a small court fee, no jail, no community service, no AA. Then, Jude went to battle against the CA DMV on my behalf, which we were sure we would lose and my license would be suspended. However, thanks to how thorough and knowledgeable Jude is, I was able to keep my driving privilege and did not have to face any negative repercussions from the DMV. Now, while I would have hoped to have the entire case cleared with no conviction whatsoever, the issue really came down to cost and my lack of funding to continue to proper trial. This is in no way a reflection on Jude and his practice. He kept me informed as to the costs of everything and we did not proceed any further unless I said go. He did his absolute best for me and I am more than happy with the outcome. I highly recommend his practice and will be enlisting his services in the future for record clearing. Thank you Jude!!!
