Under Covide I received a Frivolous ADA WCAG website compliance lawsuit by the Frivolous "Handy Potter" Law firm who is not liked by the courts in San Francisco as their firm is an unprofessional legal milling practice & their fraudster client The plaintiff, "Un-Blinded" Andres Gomez. Of course my business was at a peril at that point in time, although Attorney Scott Karlin and his professional team, with Melissa and Dan were to the rescue. The lawsuit hit at the worse time in my family and my life as our business was struggling business. The level of service that Scott and his team brought was assuring. They even captured video surveillance of The Un-Blinded Andres Gomez walking around without any assistance discovering factually that Andres Gomez was not blind at all and consistently lied to the courts under oath. Andres Gomez and the Handy Potter has caused much harm to families and local small businesses and now, The Karlin group has brought much relief and stopped those carpet baggers from terrorising businesses using the false premises of being blind and using the ADA laws illegally. I want to thank the entire Karlin Group for their complete service from A-Z... Thank you Scott. Prayers to your team and yourself.. Case Dismissed..! Amen.

Excellent Atorney and General Good Person

When ever I need a real estate lawyer, I go to Mr. Karlin.

I met Mr. Karlin almost ten years ago, at a time when I was starting a new business and in need of legal counsel in California. Mr. Carlin was recommended to me, along with another attorney, by a highly respected colleague of mine. After my initial meeting with Mr. Karlin, I had no interest in meeting with the second attorney. That first meeting sparked what was to become a long-term and extremely rewarding business relationship. Today, even when I have matters in New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, or Washington State that require a lawyer's expert input, I turn first to Scott and I let him make the recommendations. If a local attorney is needed, I always ask Scott to interview the attorney and if one is engaged, I rely on Scott to direct the proceedings. My business became quite successful and I often wonder whether it would have been so had I not met Scott. He has a brilliant legal mind but he is also a pragmatist and a man with great business sense, a combination not easily found in lawyers.

I have been represented by Scott Karlin for over 15 years, the representation has been excellent. In turn I have recommended Scott to Clients of mine who have had excellent experience with him. As an example earlier this year, a client of mine was in the process of purchasing a discounted Note from a Bank and at the same time was going to acquire the real estate in the deal. The Attorney who was representing my Client was very not responsive to the time sensitive nature of the Note Purchase, and the real estate transaction. I recommended Scott Karlin, and we met with Scott, discussed the deal and my Client engaged Scott to represent him in the transaction. Scott did an excellent job of getting up to speed on the deal, and assisting in the negotiation of the loan documents for my Client. We closed the deal in my opinion due tot the fact that we had Scott Karlin on board to represent my Client the Buyer in the deal. From the time of Scotts involvement we closed in just a few weeks, and were on schedule, if we had not closed the entire deal would have blown up. The transaction had a host of moving parts, the Bank who was selling the Note, and had a back up buyer for the Note. The Owner of the Real Estate who had his own issues, with losing the property and what he needed to stay out of a Chapter proceeding. And a Bridge Lender who was willing to put up a lot of money to complete the deal with partial Reconveyance’s for the sale of units. This was a nice complex transaction which needed a good Attorney; Scott did an excellent job of helping put everything together and help hold it together to get the deal closed. I would recommend Scott Karlin to any of my clients or friends who needed an Attorney.
