I know most attorneys have free consults but when I had mine, Kate she was so helpful and told me exactly how everything will play out and what I should be expecting for total cost and no hidden fees which I appreciated a lot. Definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a cool and hands-on attorney!

At first I was puzzled as to what type of Trust I needed for my special needs daughter, once I met with Kathleen she calmed me down and told me I know exactly what you need.... And she sure did! I was referred to Kate through a good friend of mine to work out the details of my family's trust. With everything going on my family thought it would be best to revisit what was planned out 10 years ago. A lot has changed since then and my mother thought it would be best if assets were moved around to better support my sister and me. Things can get very emotional within my family and Kate was extremely patient. Kate is extremely knowledgeable and I don't see us planning anything without her. I highly recommend working with Kate.

K. Kelso Law was recommended to me by a relative who had her do her estate documents. Bottom line: she was amazing. My life situation is somewhat complicated (quasi-blended families, etc.). Even though each step in the process seemed to involve big life decisions (ugh), Kate really cared about helping me make the decisions I'd be comfortable with. We talked through everything and when I changed my mind, it was never a big deal -- she just seemed happy that I was coming to a resolution I felt comfortable with. I also very much appreciated how comfortable she is with electronic meetings and documents. I work long hours and needing to going to an attorney's office (even before COVID19) was a great excuse for putting this off! Since she did my estate documents, I saw my mother's documents and Kate's were clearer, with less "lawyerese." Few attorneys in my experience care as much about their clients and about making sure their clients get what they both need and hope for. I'd recommend her without reservation.

As his eldest daughter, I wanted to make sure that his affairs were in order especially during this tumultuous time during a pandemic. Kate was able to do everything we asked of her and even made suggestions for things we had no idea we needed.
