When I first heard I was under a criminal investigation, I initially thought I would try to resolve this in the best way possible, without legal representation. I quickly discovered that was not the case and contacted Antionette Lias. She clearly described the expectations and the choices available to me. She was always available to me via phone or text, and when I called, if she couldn't talk with me at that time, she would quickly get back to me. Attorney Antionette Lias is a very thorough defense attorney. I had two attorneys on my case that did not know what they were doing. I saw Lias Law Firm and decided to call. Am i glad i did! My first conversation with Attorney Lias put me at ease that she will give her best in resolving my matter. She met with the supervising prosecutor about my case and explained that I would lose my job if I was convicted of a felony. She was proactive in keeping me updated on my case and got my charge reduced to a misdemeanor and I did not have to do any jail time. I recommend Attorney Lias to anyone who needs a criminal defense attorney!

Marc is both skilled and supportive. I was hesitant to file a lawsuit against a former employer, and Marc was attentive to my concerns and was never pushy. Since he has a background in defense, he was able to anticipate and prepare for the defense's strategy. In the end, he was successful in securing the resolution I wanted, and I could not be happier with the results. He was extremely responsive, replying to all my emails (and there were a lot) quickly, and he proactively checked in with me often just to make sure I was okay throughout the entire process. Litigation can be emotionally exhausting, and I am grateful to have had an attorney who made everything easy for me! I had an ex-landlord that disappeared for two years. Feeling uncomfortable with the situation, I sent my 30-day notice to her last known address once we lost contact with her. Two years later she resurfaced and tried to sue me for two years of past due rent and for various other things. She showed up at my workplace, unannounced and left the documents at our front desk. I consulted with Marc, whom I had attended college with. He reviewed all the facts and all the paperwork the ex-landlord had filed against me. He then filed a motion to have the suit dropped due to improper service and incorrect filings. She never showed up for the court date so the case was dropped. The ex-landlord again tried to serve me with the same documents for the same things. Again, Marc filed the motion to have the suit dropped for the same reasons as previously noted above. He again attended the court date, on my behalf, for which the ex-landlord actually showed up. He handled the situation with extreme professionalism, even when she threatened to report him to the State Board for numerous false accusations. The suit was eventually dropped for good. Marc answered all my questions in a timely manner and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone who asks. He is an extremely knowledgeable and professional attorney.

Marc assisted our company with handling a DFEH claim. This was the first time I had experience with such a claim so assistance was required. Marc was very helpful by telling me what to expect through the process, clearly explaining the material the company needed to supply, explaining all possible options, and best practices for growing forward. I felt he listened and responded well and timely to my concerns and questions. Currently he is assisting with our Employee Handbook and again has provided timely responses and exactly what we ask for.
