My mother suffered a major wound as a result of a skilled nursing facility's neglect, and their failure to adequately take care of her condition. I wasn't alerted until weeks later when my mom was seen by an outside physician. The wound had become so bad the doctor recommended her leg be amputated. My mom was transferred to Providence Holy Cross Hospital for further evaluation and treatment resulting in four surgeries. I contacted the Peck Law Group after reading some positive reviews. I spoke with Adam Peck and felt immediately comfortable with him. Adam explained the process and told me he believed I had a case of neglect against the care facility. I then proceeded to retain the services of the Peck Law Group. Adam Peck was very helpful and always answered my phone calls in a timely matter. He kept me abreast of my claim as it worked its way through the investigative process and into the settlement process. Unfortunately, my mother passed away during the settlement period and Adam was able to negotiate a very substantial settlement in a relatively short amount of time. Mr. Tabone spent adequate time with me on phone multiple times. He actually gave me a very clear and candid idea about whether we will win or lose the case based on the material I had provided him. He did not push me into hiring him. In the end I decided not to pursue the case as the financials were not adding up and he agreed.
