On 3/13/24, I contacted and consulted with Attorney Aidan McGlaze. He requested all my case information, including a synopsis and audio files. After hearing my voice, things changed. Without even reviewing the materials, he refused my case and offered a smug "good luck" without a care in the world. I would NOT recommend this lawyer!

I am a physician and as such have had many instances in which I worked with, hired and consulted with attorneys. With that being said, I have never had an experience with an attorney other then with Aidan McGlaze where I had full trust in his abilities, intelligence, integrity and compassion. I required an attorney for an issue that impacted my livelihood and was having profound effects on my welfare; financially, physically and emotionally. Mr. McGlaze handled the issue expertly which led to a positive outcome. I appreciated his work not only for the outcome, but for the manner he achieved it. He consistently kept me informed of what was happening with my case, involved me in the decision making process and promptly responded to all of my phone calls and emails. It was apparent that he researched my case diligently and presented the best option out of several that would have the best desirable outcome. Most notably, he was very personable and empathized with the toll the legal issue was taking on my welfare. I highly recommend Aidan Conor McGlaze for your legal needs without reservation.

I contacted Mr. Marchand for assistance regarding a trademark dispute I was involved with. He was very responsive to my needs and knowledgeable on the subject. Ultimately he was able to provide counsel as to my best course of action at the outset of the dispute and ultimately resolve the matter without the need for trial. I appreciated his practical approach to addressing the problem and his ability to resolve the matter without incurring unnecessary legal expense, as far as I could tell. I am very pleased with his representation and knowledge on the subject.

You want the best matrimonial attorney in town to represent you? Hire David Marco Weber, Esq, of Divorce310, whether you’re facing a divorce, a custody case, or any other family law matter. I employed the services of Mr Weber in September 2023 to represent me in a custody case. Mr Weber immediately went to work, deftly outlined a court strategy, and filed the petition as well as subsequent documents without delay (even on week-ends). He had the court papers served to the opposing party in highly diplomatic fashion without causing a meltdown, thus facilitating a smooth and efficient commencement of the custody case. During the pre-court proceedings, Mr Weber proved a valuable and highly knowledgeable adviser anticipating the other party’s strategy and moves, which I found particularly reassuring given the emotionally charged nature of any family law issue. Going through a divorce or custody case is never a pleasant experience, and I came to greatly appreciate Mr. Weber’s legal expertise, calm demeanour, and detailed knowledge of the inner workings of the Los Angeles court systems in that process. Mr Weber had my best interests at heart, was personally invested in the outcome of my custody case, and proved to be an extremely skilful negotiator. He knew exactly when it was time to employ a hard-nosed, no-nonsene approach, and when it was warranted to strike a more conciliatory tone — whatever it took to achieve the overall goal of winning my case in court. His broad general education and psychological skills in combination with his impressive legal accomplishments render him a uniquely qualified matrimonial attorney amongst bar-associated lawyers in this city. Suffice it to say that in court, Mr. Weber’s strategy unfolded flawlessly. I got ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING I asked for and will be eternally grateful to Mr Weber for winning my custody case and having my child back in my life. If you’re facing a divorce or custody case and are looking for the best possible representation in Los Angeles, I recommend you set up a consultation with David Marco Weber, Esq., right away. You’ll be beyond impressed — Mr Weber is the legal warrior that anybody would want on their team.

  4. What is your approach to resolving cases like mine?
Learn about their strategy, whether they prefer negotiation, mediation, or litigation.

Can a Lawyer Represent Me in Courts Outside of Venice, California?

Whether a lawyer can represent you in courts outside of your city or state depends on their licensure and the jurisdiction of the court:

  • Within the Same State:
Lawyers licensed in a particular state can typically practice anywhere within that state, including all cities and counties. They can represent you in both state and federal courts located in that state.
  • Outside of Their Licensed State:
If your case is in a different state, the lawyer must be licensed in that state to represent you. However, there are exceptions:
    • Pro Hac Vice Admission: An out-of-state lawyer can request special permission to represent a client in a specific case in another state. This requires filing a motion with the court and often working in conjunction with a local attorney.
    • Federal Courts: If your case is in federal court, a lawyer licensed in any state may be able to represent you, provided they are admitted to practice in that particular federal court.
  • International Representation:
For cases outside the United States, different rules apply, and the lawyer may need to comply with the foreign country's legal requirements or collaborate with local counsel.

It's important to discuss your specific situation with the lawyer to determine if they can represent you in the desired jurisdiction and what steps may be necessary to do so.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  • Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing. Most state bar websites have an online directory for this purpose.
  • Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case. Review their website, professional profiles, and case history.
  • Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association's records.
  • Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, Google, or Yelp to gauge client satisfaction and experiences.
  • Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation in the legal community.
  • Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  • Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients who can speak to their abilities and professionalism.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  • Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as:
    • Contracts or agreements
    • Correspondence (emails, letters, texts)
    • Legal notices or court papers
    • Financial records (if applicable)
    • Evidence (photos, videos, receipts)
  • Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and parties involved. This helps the lawyer quickly understand the context.
  • List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, fees, or the lawyer's experience.
  • Financial Information:
If your case involves financial matters, bring relevant documents like pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements, or invoices.
  • Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case, including their names and contact information.
  • Personal Identification:
Bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes.
  • Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points discussed.
  • Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations so the lawyer can provide appropriate guidance on fees and payment options.
  • Openness and Honesty:
Be prepared to discuss your case candidly. Full disclosure allows the lawyer to give accurate advice and anticipate potential challenges.
