I had a great experience working with Michael and team. I had an issue arising from an injury claim on my property which was an extremely stressful situation . I was very fortunate to be provided the services of Michael through my insurance carrier. Michael did an exceptional job negotiating a settlement which worked out the best for everyone involved. From the outset I knew I was in good hands. His advice was highly strategic and trustworthy. There were steps and arguments made by Michael on my behalf that were not obvious. In the end Michael’s negotiation skills were very effective and he was able to resolve a matter that honestly was not in my favor, favorably. I can’t thank Michael and Team enough. Michael and I worked together as attorney and client, respectively, from 2019-2021 when Slaughter, Reagan & Cole was retained by an insurance carrier to defend our company when sued by a group of tenants of an apartment building we had sold four years earlier. After extensive discovery the suit was settled in mediation. He was instrumental in the outcome: resolution and dismissal with prejudice. Michael demonstrated significant skill and knowledge. His leadership of the firm's team brought attention to detail and a dogged perseverance. The result was the best outcome possible in the challenging tenant-oriented California legal environment. We are a condominium (HOA) management firm. Michael assisted us when one of our HOAs was sued by a homeowner. The basis for the suit was an array of issues which included HOA maintenance responsibility matters. The suit was settled in mediation and Michael was instrumental in guiding both us and the HOA. Michael did the necessary research and follow through to help my business acquire a Trademark (properly and legally) with no issues and saved me a lot of time and energy so that I can focus on operations.
